Rumours have suggested that Beckham may be coming to LA Galaxy. Apparently the club can offer him a reasonable amount of money which will certainly attract him to the club. If Beckham does join wouldn't it be amazing?!?!?!?

Rumors of Beckham coming to the Galaxy are getting ridiculous. We are getting tired of so many rumors.
http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx...id=186&lid=10&title=Galaxy+get+Becks+go-ahead At first glance thought Madrid had given permission for LA to talk to him. Just another link in the chain.
Very interesting indeed, however Garber's comments are disheartening. We just have to wait and see how the cards play out. I, like everyone else am getting frustrated with all the rumors. I understand that it is a waiting game but I want to see some signatures on the dotted line.
I get all giggly inside when I try to imagine Beckham slumming it at the annual season ticketholder BBQ... Zippy
Did anyone here a guy call in Fox Football's Phone-In show today? He claimed a girl he knew that worked at the DMV had received an appointment for a behind the wheel road test for a certain Mr. David Beckham in a few weeks time. The man claimed it to be a "Scoop", of course, don't know how to take his word, but if any of this is true, then clearly Beckham --->> Galaxy.
I heard that too. Then that moron Cohen was asking which DMV? still - conclusive evidence if I ever heard it.
If true, conclusive that he and his wife likely plan to spend a lot more time here but not conclusive as to him playing for the Galaxy.. We already know she has new biz dealings here and he has his academy.. It's not "proof" of a pending signing with the Galaxy.. Even should they buy a home here, it's not "proof"..
it's proof I tell you. I heard it for myself on that show from a guy who knows a girl that works in the DMV. It doesn't get much better than that. in fact, I may rush off down to the nearest bookies and bet my house on it.
How is going to the DMV proof... ? I've worked in entertainment since I was 12 which means for over 40 years and have known several people who maintain properties and full lives in more than one country and it doesn't make it proof of anything.. A hint for the future, perhaps, of a possiblity but far from proof.. The only proof that Beckham will be playing for the Galaxy next year will be an article on the front page of MLSnet that says he has signed..
Did anyone ever check into the comments on KISS-fm (I think that was the station) Someone told me the radio station said the Beckhams were house shopping in Beverly Hills- Hollywood Hills area?? Any truth?
I'd rather have Ronaldo or Figo really. But if we want more people in the seats, atleast for a few games than Beckham.hmmmm?
uuuuuugggggggggghhhhhhhh it's that static noise again, someone please shut it off (close this thread, there are plenty of others-worthless just like it)
http://perezhilton.com/topics/victoria_beckham/welcome_to_the_neighborhood_20061204.php becks is on the way. already started house hunting
Unlike the majority of us, rich people routinely own more than one home. So just b/c Beckham is buying a house in Beverly Hills doesn't necessarily mean anything. I'm sure Topper can fill us all in on what it's like to be rich and own homes all around the world. Right?
Sure, I've got a little place in the mountains and one in Rancho Cucamonga. I'm a frikken globetrotter.
http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,3033_1753217,00.html I have no information on the credibility of the source, just thought it was an interesting story. Short version: Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to offer David Beckham wages of £110,000-a-week for him to leave Real Madrid and move to the San Siro. And also give him back 100% of his sponsorship rights. There's no way MLS has that kind of money to throw around.
Here's basically the same story from a reputable (in my opinion) source . . . not saying it's done, just saying that I think there's action behind the story http://www.soccer365.com/EUROPEAN_NEWS/Italy_News/page_179_132360.shtml
