David Beckham has been fitted with bullet-proof clothing after a kidnap attempt on his family.

The England captain has spent £1,000 on body armour, including a long-sleeved protective top, on the advice of his new security team.

Sources close to the football star say he is taking no chances following the alleged abduction plot against his wife Victoria and young sons Brooklyn and Romeo.
