What Israel is doing is dumb and Biden is right, there are other ways of dealing with Hamas. Victoria Nuland stepped down from her position in the State Department. What a horrible woman. Good riddance. The Pope said Ukraine should raise the white flag. He's right. The best they can do now is the best they could do almost from the day this dumb war started. They have to set terms to one day regain possession of some or all of their lost territories that would allow Russia back into the international fold, but also, they have to learn to live with Russia. Putin, as despicable as he is, isn't going to live forever. Things change over time.
All true but the USA are supplying arms to Israel at rates never seen before but then have failed food drops in Gaza. They are on Israel's side so just admit it already. I have never cared for the Middle East but the starvations draw the line. USA needs to put itself and it's citizens first. Not cater to Israel.
IDK to what extent Palestinians are starving, but they are suffering and dying at figures that are unacceptable. If these numbers reach into the sort of figures some are putting out there, 300Ks by some estimates (personally, I highly doubt it, but it could get that bad if this war drags on), Israel's reputation may never recover. They will be more isolated than ever. I don't think things will get to that point and it's in Israel's interest to give aid to these people. We will see if they can do that while maintaining a war posture. I highly doubt it.

I genuinely liked Scalia. His homophobia never seemed to cover for any latent homosexuality like it has for so many other Republicans. That agenda is the reason why we burn books now. No more books on how to give blow jobs... even though I wish the girls I went to school had read those books.
I don't think scalia was an actual homophobe. He just believed that courts had no business resolving the issue of what marriage is. Tide was turning anyway.
