My parents and grandparents lived during communism, and they were happier than today. They were normal people, my father working for the railways, my grandma raising a family, then working as a cook, and my mother working as a helping cook at a high school, my aunt as a cook in a facility for mentally challenged people. People who may not be the smartest, or they might not come up with a thousand ways how to sell you a dildo, or any other thing you do not need, but people nonetheless. They say the products were at times scarce, but healthier and better. People generally helped each other, and had a lot of real fun, because they actually did feel like human beings. Of course, communism had many faults, but people mostly forget that capitalism has those as well. Criticizing communism that you did not even experience yourselves will not help you with your situation, people, I am sorry to say. One of the biggest factors that people forget is that communism has never actually been tried without the hatred of the opposition. Or with human beings who actually want to help each other, not rise above and act like they deserve their position, and mostly lie about how they got it. Or better, pretend that their higher intelligence, or talent, is their own accomplishment, and therefore they deserve more than others, and it even justifies other people dying for no good reason. But anyway, if you feel like you know so much, that you have read just about every history book, psychology book, thought every thought, and calmly assessed every possibility, to feel so confident in having an opinion, be my guest, I support you. But, you are doing the wrong thing, communism has nothing to do with the faults of capitalism, and its influence on capitalism is nowhere near what it was the other way around. And also, why do people these days think everything inclusive is communism? Communists wanted equality and equity, because they were enslaved by first the aristocrats and then the capitalists, but they were actually ruthless in many ways. For example, you would go to prison for not working. I mean, work was always given to you, even if there would have to be 4 people for 1 job, but if you refused to work, prison it would have to be. The biggest fault of capitalism right now is that it is becoming unsustainable, and the resolution for that is even more difficult to envision than the non-sustainability of communism was. Progress for the sake of progress is the idea of a cancer cell, but is anybody even close to resolving this tendency of this glorious ideology? Producing another weak TV show with no artistic value? Another Diddy party? Another music 'talent' with no talent, bad lyrics, and music that would not please a 10-year-old with average intelligence, but the new system has successfully produced adults who are below that average, so it works? SELL SELL SELL SELL SELL. The system needs it, but it has become the biggest problem of that very system. Though somehow they manage to blame a system that was actually not about seeling shit products to people that have been, as if, groomed to purchase those products. My solution is, let's tear all this shit down, and start building it from scratch, because with the mentality people have today, there is no other viable solution.
What is prosperity is the question here. Is it this we have here? Even the abundance we have is not really an abundance of quality, so what is it, then? I can usually posit my arguments much better verbally. That is, I can exhaust the inexhaustible, almost, and I can argue points that people seem to have forgotten. I guess that all boils down to a great lack of reading. Furthermore, for some reason, when people read, they go for the emotional types who are immune to any kind of real, objective observation or analysis. There is not only one kind of prosperity, that is why I wanted to mention the words of my family, words that so many others have been promulgating as well. The older generations especially, and naturally, mostly the proletariat. My grandmother showed me a video from communism back in the day, they were congratulating carpenters, farmers, etc after graduation as if they have just won the Nobel Prize for cancer research. People who have given themselves undividedly to the cause of humanity, no matter with what degree of conscious awareness, will nor forget that. They were happy, they had community, they felt valued. The funniest thing is that my cousin, who is the biggest capitalist of all, and a healthy lifestyle freak, has come to me that it might actually be unhealthy to be able to buy things out of season, as our bodies are not used to it. Of course, now he has his own business with healthy lifestyle articles, as expensive as they come, so he will no longer look into that theory. Maybe that would explain why many people with inherited health issues these days develop symptoms 10 or even 20 years in advance, like me. But that is not something I know a lot about. I just wanted to point out that just having a lot does not constitute prosperity. In fact, right now, we should look into the prosperity the Stoics envisioned, or the minimalists. There is true happiness in just existing, why do people never want to try it? Why do they always insist on distraction? If they are afraid, it is okay, but facing your fears is a good thing. I am by no means trying to promote communism, as I believe a real human being barely needs any kind of system that we are discussing here, or should I rather say, authority. But truth where truth is due, and all the claims of capitalists are inflated, uneducated, misinformed, or downright lethally constructed to deceive. And the lie has been introduced so well, that the deception is not even being unravelled. Anyway, I really do not care much about this, as I do not believe anything has any real power in this argument, but I just really hope people will try to fix that which exists, instead of concentrating on the threat of a system that has never really been a real threat. That is the biggest lie. And even if a system based more on society came out of it, what could happen? Paying teachers more, like in the Scandinavian countries? Better education? Most capitalist countries that have actually adopted some socialist ideas are doing extremely well. You can find TED talks about the British travelling to Finland and trying to copy many features of their educational system. With the way things are today, it is highly unlikely that communism as people think they knew it would come again, so why are they so afraid of arguing any point that might actually improve the lives of the majority? I love that they are actually protecting the 1 percent with everything they have got while doing so. As I have said before, those cunning foxes deserve every single particle of praise they get.
Just to try to illustrate my point a bit with an old interview, I will post a video where Carl Sagan discusses something interesting, and the question immediately was, whether he was a socialist. They were talking about infant mortality. Now if you want to save your country, you need to bring people like this back, and actually listen to them. But oh my, oh my. You do not like infant mortality? You do not like the potential of sentient intelligence capable of creativity being lost? Well, you must be a communist, socialist! Next you are gonna tell us that we cannot drink 2 beers while driving from home, what is this, communism. BTW, the funniest thing about that famous video where Americans complain about not being able to drink a beer or two after work and drive home is that during communism people actually did drink, often not just two or three beers, and drove home. Another example of how little Americans actually know about communism. It is a real sh*tshow, how both the American proponents of communism, or socialism, and their antagonists, actually know sh*t about it. In fact, they also do not know much about capitalism or democracy... Yet oh boy, do they have an opinion...
We don't need Carl Sagan. A bunch of rats ate all the cheese and left the mice some crumbs and shit to eat. Now the cheese is almost gone. I think the US is heading towards a communist/socialist system. Bernie Sanders style prez soon enough. No more empire to fight wars and soup kitchens is best case scenario. Worst case, WWiii, pandemics, famine, power cut, etc. We're f-cked like Tampa.
All good @Euphorius Thor. Sounds like you had a good upbringing. Was just referring to a nation's economy. Didnt the old USSR have a system like you can have any Lada you want as long as it's black? I recall a former Russian or Soviet politician visiting the USA and marveling at how stocked the shelves were. Boh. Have a great weekend and enjoy football if you watch this weekend.
Yes, it had stupid ideas in it, though not unheard of. So does capitalism, or idealism, or you can even say Stoicism. I just seriously do not understand how people base the quality of a system on how stocked the shelves are. Last time I checked, I seemed to have needed very little, and even that very little I desired only a little. But to each his own. It is just sad that people like me want little, and destroy little. This obsessive compulsive consumerism is about to take us all to hell, and people seem to have no real ideas, except for ridiculing those who want people to be less stupid, consume less bullshit, and stop calling us communists because of that. I mean, that is what I used to be passionate about, now I just sometimes enter into a discussion to see if people can change their mind, or at least consider things again. I find that in writing, rarely, but in speech, when being actually outside together, much more often. As I have said, people actually do not have much information, few angles have they looked at the situation from, and only a tiny bit of history are they usually capable of recalling in their minds, and even fewer individual instances from it. If the US becomes a socialist system, I will be surprised, to be honest. Last time I checked, it was capitalism on steroids. But it seems like these days there are as many definitions of socialism as there are of capitalism, so anything can become anything, I suppose. The lack was to be expected, in fact, every real believer in socialism was aware of it. In fact, I already did not like socialists before the system was implemented. But hey, I do not like capitalists as well. Because they are both kind of lame, but the socialists at least had an idea that, in theory, seemed to care about the proletariat. Did they fail horribly? So so, depending on your preferences, I suppose. Was socialism, however, an enemy crated by the exploitation of the workers forever? Indeed, it was. That is why they had so many actually worthy people on their side, though it all went to shit just like most things. You all have a great weekend too. The least I can say is that I appreciate that you can a listen to a rant from someone who is very hurt by this shitshow of a society. As minimalists and poor idealist souls usually are. I would not be able to sell something to someone if my life depended on it, I guess it cannot be otherwise, for I would have given it for free. For me, this system of capitalism is basically suicide. But I will slave away my days, and then, the grand finale.
I am afraid you need to expand your horizons a bit; it appears you are making the common mistakes of believing that communism is just an economic system, that Scandinavian countries are actually purely innocent socialists and that present day America is what unadulterated capitalism look like. Unaware progressives in the USA love to tout how amazing "socialist" countries like Sweden and Norway are. You cannot compare those countries, which have largely been homogeneous demographically speaking for a loooong time. USA has open borders and no shared values, culture, belief system. And part of the prosperity of the Scandinavians has been oil money and weapons sales, while the countries give very little to shared institutions like NATO and don't invest a great deal in their own militaries. So effectively, they are barnacles that are banking on someone else to bail them out. Let their countries absorb tens of millions of migrants, have to defend themselves in major conflicts in several fronts at one time and then let's see how they rank in the "world's happiest people". The major corporations in the USA have just become extensions of the uniparty and the demonic globalist; we are all becoming slaves to their agendas. Look at the covid shots requirements by corporations, the dei based discrimination and dei licensed harassment in the workplace. Profit has taken a back seat to their destructive agenda. You seem to have a lot of intellectual capacity, the ability to think for yourself and a lot of time. I would like to suggest some material for your consumption. Learn about traditional Catholic social teachings. The Church has been anti communist since shortly before Marx even came on the scene (almost prophetic). But the Church is also not supportive of absolute capitalism. The purpose of the economy is to serve man, the purpose of man is to serve God, and by serving fellow man (who is made in the image and likeness of God) he also is serving God. Read "The Devil and Karl Marx". Look at architecture and art which is produced during communist rule compared to that produced when Catholicism has been one with the culture. Listen to former commie turned Catholic Bella Dodd. This is an important listen for all Americans living today, as it will give a much better understanding of how things have really always worked in this country. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podca...-interviews-with/id1199918249?i=1000501018998 And this interview gives a pretty sober assessment and current snapshot of the global chess board, with a lot of science and history. And how the USA is very, very naughty .
I have to hand it to Kamala if she goes on Rogan. She should consider going on Alex Jones, frankly. It's amazing what you can accomplish sometimes by just reaching out to people, especially the disaffected. I also think she should break more from Biden and Dems. Bill Clinton sort of admitted it the other day, that we ought to be tougher on border controls. Biden is undercutting her anyways. Playing sourpuss because he was kicked out. The biggest problem she has right now is she looks like a puppet. She should go back to being a tough prosecutor like she used to be. She is in much better position to take a harder stance on migration. Make a commitment for peace, to end war in Ukraine and prevent/end possible war in MidEast. On climate, also take more open ended position on oil. Allow for more production to help combat inflation like Trump plans to do. Truly prove she is abandoning core Dem positions on border, Israel-Iran, Ukraine-Russia, and dare I say, climate. If she does that, she can win. As it stands, Kamala will lose.
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...he-wont-strike-iranian-oil-or-nuclear-targets It doesn't help that Trump publicly advised Israel to hit Iran's nuclear facilities. He looks like winning, too, meaning Biden is close to helpless to stop Israel from taking action. I really don't want him as prez anymore, but Dems offer so far offering very poor alternative for many Americans. Dems living in fantasy world created by media. They have lost touch with reality.

Not one good movie out. No more movie stars. As for the directors... https://www.reddit.com/r/OldSchoolC...rthday_enjoy_john_candys_nextlevel/?rdt=53908 All that streamed trashy soft core porn on Netflix didn't kill theaters, bad movies did.
Anyone see the Kamala FOX interview with Brett Baier? I saw it on YouTube and it was live streamed by this dude: https://www.youtube.com/@TheRealGospelChops You be asking, why watch on YouTube when you can watch on FOX? To that I say, read the bottom scroll in the first screenshot. It came around the 25th minute mark, when this exchange happened that pretty much summed up the whole interview: Would you call that a bemused look? The man has had so much botox done he has less expression on his face than Liam Payne (too soon?). Next, why is Brit Hume sitting inside his bathroom? And why do the other panel guests have worse fake spray tans than Trump?
Norway is also basically the European version of Saudi Arabia with its oil reserves which always them to do all their socialist stuff. Though i find it strange they still need to tax their citizens so much…
Bautista dunking on Trump. Sounds like he was fed some talking points, but put a solid body slam on Trump's narcissism. 1846991747475484783 is not a valid tweet id
