I used to think Canadian conservatives were off their rocker when they used to rant about the CBC which is a government funded television and radio network saying they push the agenda on behest of the Liberal Party. But here's a good example of where I see their point. Not too long ago I made a post about how CBC ran a sympathy piece on the indian truck driver that killed 16 and injured 13 others in 2018 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Imagine a network who should be impartial and pushing for this murderer to be allowed to stay in Canada. Then recently they are going off on Carter Hart. Hart is a NHL goalie for the Vegas Golden Knights. Years ago he and 3 other Under 20 players were charged with rape. They had their day in court and a FEMALE judge ruled them Not Guilty. There was enough evidence to suggest she was looking for a payout by Hockey Canada. If Hart did it then I'm the first to call for the woodchipper. But he was found Not Guilty but here is the CBC trying to cancel him and run him out of the NHL.
The autopsy was made to exonerate the cop. No question fentanyl elevated the risk for heart failure, no question he didn't choke him to death, but it's preposterous to claim the manner he was held down played no role in his death. If George Floyd were not held down like that, he'd have lived.

The game was on earlier but no one talked about the game after that Bronco chase.
ESPN has a 30 for 30 episode on June 17, 1994, where they focus on the opening of the World Cup, the OJ Simpson Bronco, chase, the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals and the New York Rangers having their Stanley Cup parade after their cup drought.

Yeah, I don't think MJ did anything. He didn't see himself as an adult and thought having sleepovers with children was fine. For a person having a much different life than the average person I could see how it could happen.
It takes an impressive amount of willful blindness to be aware of all the accusations and payouts by the estate and be sure he didn't do anything. I can see having doubts, but wow.
He was closest to Macaulay Culkin (excuse the spelling) and Culkin testified under oath and plenty times after that that MJ did nothing wrong. Obviously I cannot relate wealthy people at their financial level but I do recall Oprah Winfrey saying that she gets people suing her all the time, people she doesn't even know and would have never crossed paths with, and it's easier to just pay their frivolous lawsuit to go away rather than fight it. Could very well be why MJ and his handlers did it. EDIT: obviously if he did something wrong Id call for the woodchipper for him too.
Easier to pay out $25 million when you are innocent? Did Oprah sleep with young kids? Would you have let your kids innocently sleep with a grown man at that age?
If lowlife parents knew MJ had legitimate sleepovers with nothing bad happening I can definitely see a situation where they would send their child to it so they could make accusations. He just seemed to a child caught in a man's body. Of course I could be wrong, that goes without saying.
Did he pay it out to avoid the media circus or a media lynching? He was pretty naive IMO, but he was also a black man and I think he felt there was a different standard of law that applied to him. I def wouldn't let a grown man sleep with my kids. But in saying that, Michael also wasn't normal. He never had a real childhood. In his mind, it was like kids sleeping over and it was a beautiful, innocent experience he missed out as a kid. He thought he was giving these kids something they were missing since most didn't really have their fathers in their lives. He was also thoroughly investigated, interrogated, striped, etc, and still not found guilty, twice. They should have found something concrete, but didn't. The evidence against him was at best circumstantial. These people accusing him are looking for a payday. They are not making the accusations without the demand of money. He represents their lottery ticket.
