The problem with digital currency is that it's not possible to have instantaneous transactions. It takes time for digital money to move. Also, the government can't control all the "currencies." (On a side note, bitcoin might be worthless because I think the hedgefunds own too much of it and the origins of bitcoin are questionable since maybe it originated with a government.
