I'm not crazy about Gila. He was a good choice if Sarri or Italiano had become manager, but with Allegri, I think he will be a liability. He's only ideal if the intent is to play out of the back. I don't know a lot about the French player in Portugal. Never seen him play. Not a lot of other names being linked.
And they are not even done in the market? I assume we have 0 money, Conte’s last season ********ed us. Lucca 40, guiterrez 20, savic 30, Lang 35, Geovane 20 million. And I probably forgot someone. That’s 145 million, what are they worth now? Maybe a third if we are lucky. Even though not all are contes picks they have been bought out of desperation to please a need he had. this is why I want Mctominay sold if someone bids 70+. I’m fine putting Kdb and Vergara in his position
Setting Conte aside, DeLa is thinking to sell the club. He's managing his risks and taking safer options. Theoretically, Napoli isn't constrained on spending. Milan are also linked to van Dijk, so Gila might not get snapped up so soon. Scott needs one more good season with Napoli, then he can go to Real and be Mou's bitch. Il Mattino is reporting that Italiano wants Besiktas to sign Vanja. He'd be doing Napoli a big favor if true. Maybe Italiano was told he just needed to wait his turn a little more. I personally felt he was not fully ready for the challenge of Napoli.
For all I know, van Dijk is using Milan for negotiation leverage, if even that. I see little chance of him leaving just yet.
Dijk could be back in the frame of things a couple of years from now. Maybe Gila signs for Milan soon after all. Newly promoted Hull City thinking about Vanja. Garnacho? 🚨#Chelsea Napoli are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho to strengthen their wing options.📌 Chelsea could consider selling the 21‑year‑old for around £40M this summer.👀 The decision stems from frustration within Stamford Bridge.⚽️ River Plate are also monitoring the… https://t.co/Sz7J3AU9lw pic.twitter.com/1dl7RaB21o— Ekrem KONUR (@Ekremkonur) July 3, 2026 Si por favor.
Aurelio De Laurentiis has made clear that Napoli’s priority this summer is to trim a heavily bloated squad rather than add to it, while backing new head coach Massimiliano Allegri to fit seamlessly into his vision for the club. Speaking at the presentation of Napoli’s new home kit, via the Corriere dello Sport, the president was asked about the club’s transfer plans and pointed to the sheer volume of players on the books as the issue to resolve first. “In the last month I must have received 200 proposals for players to sign, but I told them to stay calm: we have 47 players, and we need to place 25 before we can talk,” De Laurentiis said. “In my opinion we won’t need to buy anyone and will give away many.” So, seems like we will sell our players, and I cannot see too many of them to be worth buying, tbh... Imagine anyone wanting Lucca or Lukaku for big money... You can already find articles saying we would be happy to take 10m for Lukaku. So, considering we will be selling most players for very little, and that out CHL money, I mean, I hope we actually fckng got fined at least 50 million for that disaster, I do not expect any huge arrivals. We will be lucky to finish where Milan did last season. And of course, instead of being 32nd in the CHL, we might actually finally be able to get the very last spot this season! I must say I am very excited.
@SkySport— NapoliNews (@NapoliNews_) July 10, 2026 Off to a great start
I don't think it will be easy to replace Lukaku. IMO he's a great option from the bench. KdB has to be managed correctly. He can't play every game.
@indestructible Lukaku is a great goal threat. If he scores winners, still not worth it? And who could do the job on a smaller salary? I saw highlights of Spain-Belgium. KdB's quick pass was the key to Belgium's goal. He was very clever floating around the box, staying within the frame of the play. It was a simple, but brilliant play. No one for Spain has a brain like that.
If Belgium had Tielemans, Onana and a fit (match fit) keeper, it might have been a different game. @Rossonero23 Prince Charles has redeemed himself. Quality lad.
We can’t even get 18 million for Vanja? Why are we so awful at selling players lately? Also we really have idiots running the club. Osimhen should have been sold after the scudetto season because he was never worth 150 million, but kvara made him look like he was. Kvara we only sold for 75, he is worth 3 times that now (1,5 years) now we are extending with Mctominay when we need to bring money in??? we are run by idiots. Mctominay occupies the number 10 area (no matter where u put him), how many goals a season does he help create? It’s close to 0. He might score 15 but if hes only really involved in 15-20 per season I don’t think that’s good enough for a player in his position. I was hoping for Vergara and Kdb getting that number 10 position. I know many of you might think that Scott can play central midfield, but as someone who has watched Man Utd games since mourinho brought Mctominay up to the 1st team, I can tell you: no he can’t, he never could, he will literally forget about his responsibilities 90% of the time and is prone to losing the ball when pressed. 70-80 million euro for an almost 30 year old could have saved much of the ******** ups conte was responsible for.
Conte's a funny one. He signed a bunch of ex-Man U guys, Vanja being one of them, as if to prove a point to Man U that he could get more of the players Man U threw away for fun.
Bayern wanted Osimhen, but for just under or around 100 million. DeLa wanted 200 million ofc. That was the only concrete offer made for him beyond the Gala one that came good. I hope he doesn't end up at Juve.
Napoli is not desperate to cash in. DeLa is a penny pincher, however. That 7 million EUR salary demand might be the trigger that forces Scott's sale. He could go for between 60-80 million, I would think. If he stays one more season, all that matters is he remains super fit and continues to produce. I think Max can make him even better. I can't see him staying beyond next summer. Now is not the best time to sell him. If he had a great WC, different story.
