I have heard a rumor from one of the parents of an Auburn player that the Beat will be playing Auburn on March(15th maybe). Does anybody have any more details?

I can ask a girl I go to school with, if I can spot her down one day, her sisters go to Auburn.

I looked on Auburn's website and couldn't find anything but not surprising since it is a spring game.

    little more info

Found out that it will not be played where the Beat plays their home games but in some TBA location. I've been told that the game is sponsored by the GSA(which I guess is the Georgia Soccer Assoc.)

In the first half it's 2-0 with goals by Sawa and Crumpton.

Oh yeah and melbrown says Pohlers is fast.

A girl I coached in HS plays for Auburn[Erin Hinson]. Anybody noticed her play? She plays in central defense.

    YEEEEEHAW! :D

I hope Pohlers plays really well this season...well she better! I picked her to be on my team along with Hooper, Fletting, and wambach to be my forwards in lab's fantasy league draft!

Okay, just got home from the game and here's what I saw.

    Goals:

    1. Sawa with a sweet header assisted by Minnix
    2. Crumpton don't know who got the assist
    3. Gragg didn't see the assist
    4. Burt assisted by Kobayashi and Miller
    5. Kristen Warren unassisted

Yes, Pohlers is FAST. She seemed to tank out pretty quickly though.

Abby Crumpton probably impressed me more than anyone...talk about jets!! And she made beautiful, crisp passes. And this was no easy feat on the soggy field.

Warren was a monster in the air in midfield, winning header after header.

Minnix is fast and quite the nasty scrapper...a natural for us.

Can't remember the formation for the first half, but the second they looked to have played in a 3-5-2. Kylie was the captain and played the entire game.
Serlenga was there but didn't play at all.

Wilson played the first half in goal and then an unidentified player came in for the second half. Wait, I think it was Leah Miller.

There were so many new faces out there that I just couldn't keep them straight, not to mention that they were wearing other people's numbers and someone was even out there in an unnumbered jersey. :p

I don't remember ever seeing Withers, and Dominguez was not there...I overheard some Beat staffers saying that she hadn't arrived yet.

I took some pics with my digicam, which I'm gonna try to get online soon, so I'll post a link when I can.

Hope this made sense, and if it didn't...too bad.
    :D
