There have been a couple of threads on this, from about 3 months ago. The local news is that Morris Brown is not yet going under. There were some faily nasty fiscal incompetance and some rumors of malfeasance, but alumni and various foundations are trying to get things together. My bdt is at worst it will be folded into Atlanta University. Herndon might be sold, but nobody is going to tear it down, and the Beat almost certainly wisll continue to play there. My bet is that WUISA will go under before Herndon does.
