Well, too bad the deal didnt get done before Pearce was sacked. Me thinks the guy will land on his feet somewhere in Europe because he showed he can still play when healthy. The sky is not falling - he'll be okay.

It's a sad day. But he will end up somewhere else I'm sure.

    Haha. Good one.:D

Maybe Citeh can talk Joey into coming back now.

More fool's gold right there. That would be amusing.

Released on a free? Or does PSV still own his rights?

Well, I think Man City is in a free fall.

Barton, Distin, Richards, Beasley, Trabelsi, and others will definitely be gone.

    Sun Jihai: junk
    Corradi: junk
Samaras: junk, but once in a while will do something for you.
Ireland: OK I guess, but nothing special.
    Michael Ball: thuggish junk

The new manager, Jewell or whomever, so going to be starting over.

DMB is better off not being there for the relegation struggle.

no offense btw - I just don't think City and Beasley is a good situation - for either party.

I have my chant ready for when he comes back to MLS. Unless it's for DC United.

I think it's Ceteh's loss more than DMB. I think he proved he can play if he can stay healthy and should be in a decent club next year, providing he doesn't stay at PSV.

As long as he doesn't go back to MLS, he'll be alright.

The thing I learned about Beasley is that he needs to be on a team with speed. So, for those of you who really know all the Euro clubs, what team needs a left forward in a 4-3-3 or left wing in a 4-4-2, and oozes team speed.

Maybe it's just the time of year, but in my view, it's just amazing how many bad teams look like they'll be in the Prem next year. We'll see who the promoted teams buy, but Fulham, Wigan, Man City, they all ended the season as train wrecks. Newcastle was scarcely better. Bolton I think might drop off the face of the earth. Boro are "meh" and I don't think Southgate is quality and Viduka is getting old, fast.

I really hope he picks ONE of the tourneys to play in this summer because i think
he's a fairly well known commodity at this point and he doesnt need to pick up another injury trying to raise his profile.

I'd actually like to see Everton make a run at him. Don't think he'd cost too much relative to other transfer values being bandied about out there for players and his wages would be in line.

Everton could use another midfielder or two and we could certainly use on that can beat players on the wing and get into dangerous positions.

    DaMarcus fits that bill.

    Go get him Davie !!!

Too bad Coleman's gone, the deal would probably already be in the works.:D

I just dont see to many sides in England where he fits at the moment. Tottenham would be ideal but it aint gonna happen. I think DMB will really want to stay in England but I hope he really looks at the state of the club he's going to before he signs.

Do people really think the guy needs to come back to MLS? Why in the world would he even consider it at this point?

Beasley will NOT play for MLS unless it's on a DP

    ---

    NE
    Tor
    Cbus
    FCD
    Col

those are the teams with availible DP slots. Chivas traded thiers, Houston won't use theirs, thes rest have them filled, or will have the filled by Americans next year. DCU hasn't used thiers, but I'm not sure they have the cap space for him another 400K player

Beasley wants to be in Europe, Beasley's got the talent to be in Europe, and Beasley is out of the price range of most MLS teams.

What part of that makes him coming back to MLS make sense?

my guess is that he would disagree with you about Beasley's talent

Beasley's other problem was that he had very little central midfield or forward help as far as getting touches.

He'll land on his feet...whether it be Germany or England, Cola-ship, etc.

Personally, I'd like to see us start building the pieces to have a few Yanks take another team into the EPL.

    Beasley to Wednesday, anyone? :)
