@ the end of the game Beasley appeared to be holding his face and being attended to by trainers. Any word on what happened there?

Yeah I'm fairly sure that was just a reaction to him being a part of such a historic victory for the U.S..

I was wondering if he got hit or something like that. Normally I would expect it. Given how little Mexico seemed to care about losing, it seems less likely. This wasn't the 2002 WC.

I assumed he was just trying to relieve himself.

I assumed something like a battery came out of the crowd. Seen reports that the Azteca "fans" were in full regalia after the loss.

That makes more sense than anything else. I hope we'll hear something from Beasley or the Federation on this.

They had sharks with FREAKEN' laser beams in the crowd last night.

I don't think I've ever seen one of those things last an entire game before. I heart Central America and Concacaf. :inlove:

Couldn't find because security was shining it?

Wasn't Beasley on the ground from the clearance prior to the end of the game?

I give props to those American fans that actually sat among the Mexican fans with no worries. I even saw a family with kids! they got big cojones.

Just rewatched games. Hilarious jokes aside about Demarcus and his relief, he was injured on that final blocked kick at the top of the box, not from anything thrown by fans.
