Expected... If the deal is signed...

Still, what great news for Beasley. I wish him the best of luck at PSV.

I feel bad for Chicago, though. What a loss in the middle of the season.

He hasn't done crap for the Fire this year. He's been great for the Nats, but frankly does not deserve to be an MLS all-star for '04. I think his mind has been in Europe for months now.

Chicago hasn't played very well WITH him... let's see how they do without him. It may be an improvement.

I believe DMB's already agreed to terms with PSV.

The last step is for DaMarcus to pass his team physical.

Well, the precedent HAS been set for a "Returning National Team Pool Player" for free, plus an allocation. One wonders if the league will give any other team the same consideration as [team name Censored; In the Land Of Imagination, this team deserves every bit of welfare, but other teams don't].

One wonders if a "National Team Pool Player" will be given for free, because [Here's one of their arguments] "Beasley was the best American Player At His Position," therefore [team name censored] deserves the rules to be broken for [team name censored].

One wonders if this "National Team Pool Player" will show up magically at just a time when [One their other arguments] "None of the other teams in MLS wanted him."

    Just a few thoughts...

Chicago could certainly use him.... But there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that Sanneh will end up in Chicago.

Anyway, the scuttlebutt is that he'd like to pair up with childhood friend/team mate Manny Lagos in Crewland.

But the point is: Where is the "bluelight special" for other teams that sell players in midseason? Where are the free "replacement players" for teams other than [Team Name Censored]? How are some of these "bluelight specials" in the pool of "National Team Players," despite never having been capped prior to being gifted to [Team Name Censored]?

Oh yeah, [Team Name Censored] somehow deserved the "rules" being broken...

They're still keeping it from us as there still is no mention of at at mlsnet.com..
It isn't really official-official until it's up there..When it's up there it means the ink has dried on the contracts.. :)

He was referring to Ralph.. Perhaps this will be his swan song in Chicago too.

Visit www.mlsnet.com for more details on tickets for [Team Name Censored].

The league is holding it's latest handout of welfare for [Team Name Censored] at 3PM Eastern on 21 July 2004 on ESPNEWS... On a related topic, the press release for the Official [Team Name Censored] Welfare Handout Ceremony is written in such a way that it virtually predicts that [Team Name Censored] will yet again recieve a handout for nothing. [yet again]

The Fire will be due an allocation. We currently have one allocation from Bocanegra leaving.
