The Bears will play 9/12 when the Fire had been scheduled to play Columbus. The Fire game will probably be shifted to a week night. Bears play at home 9/12, 10/3,10/17,10/31. The only other date that could conflict with the fire is a playoff game for the 10/31 weekend.I think the Fire has one playoff game exemption from the 5 day rule.
Just a question, have you guys looked at the soldier field website? It list like 5-6 I international soccer matches on there, does anyone know who will be playing, the last one listed is in December.
I never got this...I mean, I know it's a load of bull, but yet it is still being used (by football players...nevermind, that explains it).
Holy cow Soldier Field actually has a decent website now! The dates in question: International Soccer 05/05/2004 | 7:30pm www.ticketmaster.com International Soccer - Cruz Azul vs. UNAM Pumas International Soccer 05/12/2004 | TBD www.ticketmaster.com Manchester United v. Bayern Munich 07/24/2004 | 3pm www.championsworld.com Stadium International Soccer 08/06/2004 | TBD www.ticketmaster.com Stadium International Soccer 09/15/2004 | TBD www.chicago-fire.com Stadium International Soccer 12/05/2004 | TBD www.ticketmaster.com --- They also mislist the US-Poland/Fire-Revs doubleheader as being on 7 November My guesses: one is probably reserved for the much-delayed Chicago-Morelia friendly match. The others could be just about anything, but most likely Mexican teams. Could the December date be for InterLiga?
