Quick question, how will they make money considering they cant show commercials???? Also, if you can help any, why dont we in the USA watching on PPV get the half-time analysis???
Im gathering your talking about the BBC and if you are the simple answer is if you have a TV in your house you have to pay tax of somthing like £105 to the BBC every year.
The TWI EPL feeds don't include a half time anaylsis, just highlights and goals from an earlyer game with some quiet music to acompany it. Alot of broadcasters around europe just show the games and don't bother analysing them except the realy big ones like the champions league final. Most boadcasters on highlights shows analyse the games though. Here in the uk it doesn't matter what sport we watch there is always some sort of analysis on the game. If you want a half time analysis you will probably have to give the company who own the rights to the program and sent it of to ppv broadcasters some of your thoughts to get them to do there own analysis. That would probably be Fox due to there close links with SKY and TWI.
i hope to hell that the BBC win back the rights to the premiership. ITV's coverage this season has been quite disgraceful at times. if you don't play in red you get 30secs of airtime each week and don't get me started on the quality of their 'experts'...
Does the BBC have to get approval to have the TV tax raised? Or can UK residents oppose any increase based on wanting to buy rights to footy?
