The attendance at last night’s Bay FC vs ACFC game was Quakes-like. Is it because it wasn’t a league game, but the LigaMX feminina Super Cup? (Analogous to MLS Leagues Cup)
We’ll see how attendance is at the next Bay FC Super Cup game, where they play a LigaMX team. But this was the first time I felt attendance really dropped, as if BFC fans (even though very supportive in the stadium) are finally getting tired of losing almost every home game. I thought I’d watched ACFC before, but I hadn’t noticed Alyssa Thompson. Anyhow, I was very impressed by her on Friday night. She created a lot of offense. Very quick and aggressive. So I was also surprised that fans didn’t come out to see her and ACFC.
