Nothin' wrong with that. I rather enjoy action sequences as well.

I especially enjoyed the Viper deployment tactic. That was awesome.

New ep tonight... and it looks really good.

Depending on who you listen to there are rumors that someone will die tonight.

Goddamn mother********ing brilliant. Airlocked Jammer, and damn-near airlocked Gaeta because of a secret "military tribunal".

    Jesus Christ.

Another great episode. Had Gaeta been shot out of the airlock I would have been PISSED. As for Starbuck, I'm just not liking her character this season. The first few eps she seemed totally out of character and the way she acted tonight, please... I don't like the direction she's going in.

There's been some GREAT acting so far this season.

    Tigh is out of control.

My question about how the crews would integrate was answered... it's really really crowded.

They did a great job of making the Galactica look hurt.

This new season has been phenomenal. Got to agree with Dante on Starbuck, I'm just not liking her at all right now. Couple things, I wish Adama would have bitch slapped Tigh when he was getting smart with himand I also thought the letter from President authorizing the tribunal was going to ba a fake done up by Tigh.

My wife had it picked -- she saw the presidential letterhead and told me it was Zarek doing the dirty work so Roslin would have a clean slate when she came into power.

And the thing is, it's understandable why he would do such a thing. It's amazing how this show makes horrific stuff like the suicide bombers earlier this season and the secret tribunal in this episode look reasonable for the characters making the decisions. It feels so real. It's so well done.

I don't know, she's always been prone to self-destructive behavior so this latest trend is not so surprising. Plus the cylons screwed her up pretty good: stolen ovaries, psychological torture, having a kid/not having a kid. I thought her statement to hubby was pretty sane under the circumstances.

And the whole business with the tribunal would have been worth a lot less if we didn't care about the characters doing it as much if not more than the ones being killed.

Stunning tv to say the least. The whole tribunal motif was executed so superbly I forgot the last time I was so pulled in to a tv show.

I've got to agree on Starbuck too. Her character really developed since season 1 and the actress herself is a delight to watch, however this season, something odd is going on. She's just not herself and maybe we just have to be patient and understanding on where the writers want to go with her character.

I need a refresher, so please help. Are there twelve Cylon models that look like humans? I thought there were, yet seven seems to be all we've seen, plus it appears that only seven models are voting to determine if Baltar remains on the Cylon ship. I wonder what's the deal with the other five models. Maybe they're tormenting some other humans somewhere else.

I liked how now that they're back in space, the show's "intro" (whatever you call the thing with the theme music) reverted back to what was shown last season before they set up New Caprica.

They're totally useless because early on they got addicted to World of Warcraft and after flunking out of Cylon U. got jobs at 7-11 that allow them to game all night and sleep until 2 pm. Plus they reek of Cheetoh breath and call even the Sixes "dude." Just mentioning them causes all the other skin jobs to simultaneously roll their eyes disgustedly (a heretofore unexploited weakness that may yet save humanity).

In other words, I've got no earthly idea.

Plus, you gotta keep a few models in the back pocket for the big reveal....

Adama? Cylon! Starbuck? Cylon! Chief? Cylon! Roslin? Cylon!

Some of the human cylon models have been boxed, as in their consciousness is stored in some mainframe somewhere, because they pissed off too many of the right people. That's what RDM has said.

On a side note: you can also catch Nicki Clyne (who plays Cally in Battlestar Galactica) this coming weekend in the VH1 original movie Totally Awesome.

My thoughts exactly. She's doing what I would expect her to do given what she's been through.

Re: the last episode. I think Roslyns statement that all citizens deserve a proper trial was a direct message to this administration. The secret tribunals were/are wrong. This show cuts through a lot of the bullshit when it comes to leaders' so called good intentions.

I still find it amazing that both sides of the political spectrum attempt to portray the show as advocating their political worldview (or advocating against their political worldview). These people clearly need to rethink what the show is all about.

SciFi has always had a liberal slant. I'm not imagining things. That's why I always found it ironic that my dad's favorite show is Star Trek when the message in most episodes was so *bleeping* obvious. Of course you'd be wasting your time pointing this out to him.

This rather reminds me of the uproar about V for Vendetta.

Star Trek was practically socialist propaganda!

Its easy to be idealistic in a TV show. In BSG she can issue a general pardon to all human beings because they have the same common interest of survival. I don't recall hearing her give a general pardon to all cylon sleeper agents if they would identify themselves and be willing to live peacefully with humanity. What do you think would happen to any of the 5 remaining undentified sleeper cylons when they are discovered? My bet is they are imprisoned or sent on a one way trip out the airlock without trial. The power of this show is that it should force the viewer to look at all sides of an issue. In the real world, the vast majority of the Gitmo prisoners are there because they were captured while conducting/ planning terrorist activities or where acting on terrorist behalf. They hated the USA before and during there captivity. They will continue to hate the USA after the war is over but they already did. Do you think that Roslyn's discision would have been different if the Cylon sympathizers had continued to conduct terrorist activities on behalf of the cylons after the humans escaped New Caprica? At the very least a general pardon wouldn't have been issued. In the real world I'm not outraged by the existence of Gitmo. I recognize that people wish to harm western civilization and they are doing so in a manner outside of international law. International law isn't clear on how to treat them and they aren't American citizens with constitutional rights. The outrageous part is that in all this time the USA and UN haven't reached an agreement on how the prisoners should be classified so that legal processing can proceed under some sort of international court that...

    1. is interested in justice and not just America bashing
    2. respects the importance of classified information.

I know one thing, I will be alsolutely pissed if we let a Gitmo terrorist go and they turn around and commit a terrorist attack on US soil. It's a situation where we're damned if we do and damned if we don't but we have to do something because the status quo is unexceptable. It would be nice if a Roslyn style general pardon would work but that is just the rose colored glasses of TV. It's hard to talk about the last episode of BSG without the serious danger of a threadjacking political dicussion. Good TV...

    1. You're assuming a lot concerning the Gitmo detainees.

    2. The word is "unacceptable".

    3. Let's not take this too far offtopic.

    4. Sharon has been reinstated as an officer. So there's your answer.
