VIP Map Pack 5 was made available earlier this week. I really like White Pass on rush mode.

I find that I play rush about 95% of the time. Dwaddled with conquest here and there. Nothing in squad rush or squad DM, and haven't purchased the onslaught mode yet. What are everyone else's preferences?

Yeah, I'm deff. a big rush fan.
I like it because it forces all of the action into a certain area so you really can't wonder off in the woods with the sniper kit and contribute nothing to your team, that really irritates me when a-holes do that.
The White Pass rush board is very cool, makes for some intense firefights.

Really? I find that some maps - Arica Harbor and Isla Innocentes - really bring out the sniper class, especially the latter one. Some guys will just bombard the m-com stations with mortar strikes over and over. That forces much of the action away from the objectives so guys can hunt those d-bags down.

Not that there's really anything wrong with that. I use the recon class from time to time, but hardly ever with a sniper rifle (unless some clown thinks he has a great camping spot and I'll use it to show him what's what). Mainly whenever I use recon it's on Nelson Bay with a shottie ... that map doesn't really provide long-distance shooting opportunities, and close quarters practically demand a primary weapon with a big blast radius.

Harvest Day is a field day for Engineers but it's also a totally different map. You need to have infantry to support the tanks or they will just be destroyed where as on most maps you can just drive along in a tank and not really care.

Cold War is insane with 18 people on each team, it's so small at the start. It might get bigger but I've not got past the 2nd set of M-Com boxes on Rush yet so I dunno :p

Are these new maps for sale in the PS store, or is it an automatic update?

Should be interesting which platform contributes the most, being a PC elitist I naturally think we will :p

Also, I'm not sure about anyone else but so far I've never won attacking Oasis and never lost defending either.

    Tried the Battlefield Vietnam maps.

They're really quite good and I love the "newsman" segments before and after battles.

Anyone still playing this (or Vietnam) on the 360? The Vietnam expansion was half off a couple weeks ago, so I picked it up. Excellent gamage.

Oh man I had no clue there was a thread on this game here. After being let down by Medal of Honor, Killzone 3, and Homefront i'm back playing this game. If anyone is still playing on the PS3 add me: Periphery--

Could you elaborate on how it let you down? I really liked Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 is on my "to buy" list.
