PLayed for a season or two as a developmental player in Kansas City. Can't really remember much of his play, but he was a big guy, seemed to me to be an defensive mid or such. Had some speed, had size, but didn't have teh skill on the ball he needed for MLS. Glad to see that he's still playing pro soccer.

Oh yeah, after consulting my old media guides, I'm reminded that he broke his leg in 2000 and thus didn't get many minutes in 2001. I think he may have re-injured himself (or at least didn't fully recover from his injury), and was subsequently released before the 2002 season. Central defender from what the media guide lists, but I remember Gansler pushing him up.

Solid A-League defender. He has obvious limitations to his game, but he knows them and stays within his limits, and thus doesn't screw up. Bishop is pretty accurate, but he didn't go forward except on corners too often for Pittsburgh (though I couldn't make it to any of their games after they dumped their coach, so that might've changed.

He's also a damn nice guy. Says things like "thank you" and "your welcome" when talking with fans. Glad he found his way to a good organization.

wasn't Green a former MLS Project 40 player?

Thanks for the info. We should have another solid defense next season.

We've signed 14 for the next year and look to be keeping a good core. (which is always a problem in the A-league)

Chris Bagley (if the Revs. don't snatch him), Paul Conway, Josh Henderson, Justin Evans, Chris Goos (another that may break into the MLS soon), Kevin Jackson, Steve Klein, Barry Moore, Linval Dixon (rumor he might retire), Michael Green, Rick Titus, Mark Watson, Chris Doyle, and Dusty Hudock
