Go Red Cross!! (since Holy Cross didn't make the NCAAs this year).

Not new news, but a serious question: the U.S. military has said that the Iraqi regime cut off water to Basra. But I haven't seen a news report that states the exact reason why water is not available. This one indicates damage to a pumping station, but does not indicate who caused the damage - coalition or Iraqis?

    Anyone heard anything on this?

Holy Cross did, in fact, make the NCAAs. Lost to Marquette in the 1st Round.

My brackets were dead after the first round too - though looking at them, I had Marquette.

So, again, anybody know anything about this Basra water shortage? I think it is important in the never-ending propoganda war on who is causing more suffering to the Iraqi people.

  4. The last I heard on CBS Radio was a convoy of water trucks was on it's way to Basrah.
