I think my starting lineup is arguably better, by a nose, than KDB. However, I don't have his depth by any means. Hopefully I can secure the 2nd seed somehow so we can have a rematch of his come from behind thriller in last year's semis.

Nice player, but he's not good enough to start yet, needs some def. Good bench player though.

As good as Cory Case is, that'd be more then "a nose" if you'd have picked up Belloni. Dodged a bullet there.

It's a tall task winning at KDB - but thanks. Hopefully Salisbury can somehow knock him off and you lose (sorry) before the finals. That way I have home court throughout. :)

don't apologise, i also hope you & KDB both lose first round :D

it is 2 tough games for me from making the finals again, but the task would be much nicer having home court, and the only way for that to happen is for KDB to lose, even then i dont like the thoughts of facing conte, case & kline - even with home court.

i was surprised at demons latest purchase being a SG when his team is calling out for another C or PF. he was chasing a couple of decent ones the last 3 weeks with lvl 12 IS, but must've got annoyed at getting out bid.

Waaay down in dIV...Kermmy's BCLA is top seed in the great 8. Go get em kermmy.

Got a virtual bot in the first round, so PO Normal is in order. 2nd round shouldn't be too much trouble as my team is superior to both 2 and 3 seeds.

The final will be tough as I don't have homecourt (pending the other top seed making it through) if it goes 3, but with my record, promotion to III should be almost a guarantee with the bot cleanup.

Thanks man. I would have had the top seed if Osceola had done anything other than TIE his game yesterday against Plexiglass. He was finishing in 5th place regardless, so it would have been nice to see a CT there.

As it is, I'll likely be forced to Playoff CT b/c Kievan is anti any sort of agreement.

DiStefano is really getting pissed at the fact that everyone talks about Conte, his SG backup.

I'm being slightly serious. It would take close to that to pry any of my 4 stud trainees away. Now that I'm set at PF and C there's no real reason to sell.

I would guess that Conte is probably the most disposable of the 4 though.

Plus when their on vacation during finals week they'll have some exciting games of 2 on 2.

Stefano and Figgy v Ferrante and Conte?

case & kline are toward the top end of the inside players right now, come playoffs next season they could be saying something similar to joseph anderson.

my team is crying out for a PG, list damn you :p

Just curious, but what specifically are you looking for in a PG, skill/level wise?

Looking to see if a guy like this:

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: strong ↑
    Outside Def.: strong Handling: proficient
    Driving: average Passing: strong
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: mediocre
    Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: pitiful
    Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: respectable

... is on the right track with training.

I'd rate the skills in this order:

    1 Jump Shot
    1a Outside Def
    2 Jump Range
    3 Driving
    4 Handling / Passing

You could prob just hammer away at jump shot and outside def for quite sometime. At this point in BB history there's little evidence that really high handling/passing is all that effective, while on the other hand it's clear really high jump shot/out def are very effective.

    Using the same for SG?

If that's the case, I should have a couple nice players by the middle of next season to sell, if I concentrate on shooting/OD.

Build your perfect guard challenge: Take a total of 85 in skills (not including FT and ST, assuming this is roughly the skill cap for all star potential).

    Mine:

Jump Shot: Marvelous Jump Range: Prominent
    Out Def: Tremendous Handling: Proficient
    Driving: Proficient Passing: Proficient
In Shot: Average In Def: Inept
    Rebound: Average Shot Block: Inept

I'd happily take a clone of two of the exact player above and play them at PG and SG.

your player is on the right track kermmy.

Brian, my dream guards based on 85 points would look like this:

Someone make them for me, or i will do it myself :)

    PG

Jump Shot: Marvellous Jump Range: Strong
    Out Def: Stupendous Handling: Prodigous
    Driving: Sensational Passing: Stupendous
In Shot: atrocious In Def: atrocious
    Rebound: atrocious Shot Block: atrocious

    SG

Jump Shot: Phenomenal Jump Range: Tremendous
    Out Def: Prodigious Handling: Proficient
    Driving: Sensational Passing: Proficient
In Shot: worthless In Def: worthless
    Rebound: inept Shot Block: Inept

I already have close to my dream SG, and after next season he'll be ridiculously good:

Jump Shot: tremendous Jump Range: proficient
    Outside Def.: prominent Handling: prominent
    Driving: prominent Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: mediocre
    Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: awful
    Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: strong

    Experience: awful
