    The career aspirations of the kid who caught Sammy Sosa's ball are classic. ...Maybe Charlie Sheen will give him $1 million for the ball and he can buy some quality MLS gear.

    Seriously, I'd like to see MLS engage in some targeted PR stunts, and this would be a great opportunity.

    Perahps the Fire could offer the kid two lifetime season tickets and MLS could pay to send him and a few friends to the 2006 World Cup in exchange for the ball. The offer would get some national press!!! ... If he actually went for it, the league could put the ball up for auction on its Web site and donate the proceeds to charity.

    Call me crazy, but I think it's worth a try.
