Heard that although Edgar Bartolomeu will not be going to Argentina, but actually has a chance to make the Metro roster. The question is, has anyone ever saw the guy play? He wears #77 indoor, but is he a true #77?

I'd say just as much as Serna was a true #71.

I have seen him play indoor. He is pretty sharp on the ball and off of it positioning himself well. He is talented.

Other talented indoor players formerly MetroStars included: Matt Knowles, Marco Rizi, Omid Namazi and Rob Johnson.

    'Nuff said.

    It's like two different sports.

If he's as good as this guy, he's a keeper!

Bourque was a defenseman, not a keeper.

Hear positive reviews about him, sort of a Beasley-lite. Could make for some interesting offense down the left side when Digi begins to click.

He was a member of last year's USL-D3 national soccer championship team from LI. Track record for players in MLS from LI Roughriders is pretty good.

Why does the article say he is a left footed midfielder and that 'we need some like that'? Wouldn't he be taking Digi's spot... I know some of you like Ziadie, but I think we need a right midfielder more.

Digi is incredibly valuable bringing stability to the backline right now.....I say we keep him there, and once he feels more comfortable with the side, he can begin to overlap and creat dangerous runs down that left side.

Seriously, doesn't Lisi play left mid? Don't they need a right mid?

Lisi's a central midfielder who will push out to the right or left as necessary - much like Clark, Galvan and Guevara. We don't have a single natural flank midfielder on the roster.
