Wade Barrett again did not play in a 4-1 away win for AGF. This is the 3rd consecutive game he has missed, and AGF has won all 3, so he might not get much of a chance in the near future. I won't post any more threads unless he gets into a game.

So what's the over/under on when Wade will be back in the U.S. with his tail between his legs?

How long was his contract with AGF?

    Let's see:

    Left the following:

    1. Beautiful California
    2. One of the top teams in the MLS
    3. Starting job
    4. Opportunity with the US National Team

    Gained the following:

    1. Pickled herring
    2. One of the bottom teams in the Danish league
    3. Splinters
    4. Replacement has passed him in the depth chart for the National Team
    5. More Money
    6. Access to more blonds?
    7. New Culture
    8. Really cold weather

Hopefully, this will be more of an Eddie Lewis story rather than a Joe Cannon story. Otherwise, I hope Wade enjoy's the extra money and culture...

Barrett has had an ankle injury and that explains his absence from the line up for the last three games.

Denmark is wonderful. I presume he is making more money there than with MLS.

Here's hoping it works out for him there as he regains fitness.

Have you ever been to Denmark? Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I will take culture and good food from Denmark over anything California has to offer. Plus women in Denmark look just as good or better then in Cali, just minus all of the silicone.

No need to speculate. Barrett tells us in his own words about his experience with AGF in Denmark. This article reveals a player who makes his own decisions for his own reasons. Since many Danes play in their own league and many others in Europe and elsewhere, the experience is apparantly valuable to him.

So I take it he's happy then. More power to him.

#5 says it all, with that comes an easier transition to the culture and probably a fair share of Danish blonds.... And trust me(just look at my name) the women in Denmark can match anything in California.

From what I understand, there ain't nothing wrong with the women in Denmark!
Also, I've heard a lot of great things about the quality of life there. Sounds like Barrett really appreciates some of the same things that have made my wife and I consider living there.

The quality of life is fantastic in Denmark. Food is great, women (of course) are great, and people are very nice (one of the few places in the world where Americans are actually liked). Copenhagen has a great night life as well. Its really become one of the most cosmopolitan cities in all of Europe. Only draw back is that it is very expensive. Taxes are very high there. Not Tokyo expensive, but London, Rome, Paris expensive.
