Yes he did, he got the last 10 minutes of the game, and infact he was the guy behind the last AGF goal in the 89th minute with a nice pass to Thorninger who scored the 3-3 goal for AGF... Esbjerg - AGF Aarhus 3-3 (0-1) 0-1: Shane Cansdell-Sherriff (3.) 1-1: Jakob Poulsen (65.) 2-1: Jakob Poulsen (66.) 2-2: Josta Dladla (80.) 3-2: Jan Kristiansen (88.) 3-3: Thomas Thorninger (89.) Attendance: 8,051 With Stig Tøfting showing his worth as the midfield engine AGF was in control of the match in the 1st half. AGF looked sharp and had several goal opportunities while Esbjerg wasnt being that dangerous ...In the 2nd half it looked like AGF was trying to play a more defencive kind of game to get a 0-1 win, with constant pressure by Esbjerg, getting two goals in a one-minute blunder by the AGF defence. However, the two goals made AGF push forward playing with only 3 defenders and at the end getting a deserved draw with a last minute header by Thorninger in an excellent and highly entertaining match... ------------- Danish Superliga 2003-2004 standings (22 of 33 games): 1.Esbjerg.................. 22..14 5 3..48-25......47 2.Brøndby................. 22..14 4 4..36-21..... 46 3.FC København......... 22..13 6 3..35-18......45 4.OB Odense............. 22..12 5 5..46-30......41 5.AaB Ålborg .............22..10 6 6..33-27......36 6.AGF Aarhus.............22..8 3 11..34-45......27 7.FC Midtjylland......... 22..7 5 10..36-37......26 8.Viborg....................22..6 7 9..31-31........25 9.Herfølge.................22..6 5 11..23-30.......23 10.FC Nordsjælland......22..5 7 10..26-38......22 ---------------------------------------------- 11.Frem................... 22..5 3 14..24-41......18 12.AB København....... 22..3 2 17..18-47......11
ok so that means the team allowed a goal while he was playing, did he have something to do with that as well ?
Barret Played last game and they lost 0-1..... he only get in the end of this game and they tie 3-3..... i think barret does not sound like a bad defender... i mean he assissted on the last AGF Goal... what can u tell me?
Barrett is usually rock-solid and he was only used as a sub. in the match vs. Esbjerg because of tactical reasons... Esbjerg are known to play a kind of "Norwegian long ball" or old English "kick and rush" style of play if you like, and Barrett is not that good a header, so the Swedish AGF coach Soren Åkeby (who is Swedens best tactician), picked Shane Cansdell-Sherriff instead... and as you can see he scored the 1-0 goal for AGF... later when AGF was 1-2 behind, coach Åkeby changed the normal 4-3-3 system (using 4 defenders) to a 3-4-3 system using Barrett as one of only 3 defenders also with great sucess...
According to other reports, shortly after he entered the game at left midfield, Barrett also assisted on the second goal by Josta Dladla. Did you see that goal? Then, he was shifted to the right back slot and assisted on the last AGF goal. Not bad for ten minutes of play.
Well, you could say he had a share in the 2nd goal as well, thou not the "last foot"/pass to Josta Dladla...
