    AGF Aarhus - Frem 1-0 (1-0)
    1-0: Søren Pedersen (6.)
    Attendance: 9,683

AGF (4-3-3): Rune Pedersen - Morten Petersen/53.(Kasper Kure), Leon Andreasen, Nicklas Carlsson, Anders Kure/85.("Duncan") - Brian Steen Nielsen, Stig Tøfting, Søren Pedersen - Josta Dladla, Helgi Sigurdsson, Tomasz Mazurkiewicz/79.(Tom Christensen)

Wade Barrett seem to have some trouble with his injury, and their is no news about when/if he will be able to play in the last two games this season...

It was AGF dominating and in control, with midfielder Søren Pedersen having some excellent shots besides the 1-0 goal in the first half. The 2nd half was more even with some good attacking football from AGF, but also a good fighting Frem team trying desperate to get away from the relegation line...However,a deserved win to AGF and better luck next time to Frem who now still have a even better chance to save themself from relegation since Herfølge was trashed 7-2 by AaB Ålborg...

AGF coach Soren Åkeby, has said that AGF need 3-4 new players for the next season, Hes very happy with the 2 young goalkeepers, but not that happy with the defence. He thinks that the defenders are very talented but also a bit too young, so the team needs a experienced and highly rated defender + at least one more midfielder and one more forward...

The rumours are that AGF want the highly rated 29-yo central defender Bora Zivkovic (FC København), and also are trying so sign the very talented 22-yo AM/F Babis Stefanidis (SWE U21, 11 caps) from the Swedish Champions Djurgårdens IF. According to Stefanidis agent Anders Carlsson (also AGF's agent/scout in Sweden ;)), Stefanidis has refused to sign a new contract with Djurgården and is now on his way to another Scandinavian club when his contract expires the 1th July 2004... and the former Djurgården coach Soren Åkeby has said, that he is very interested in getting Stefanidis to AGF...

Also the highly talented 22-yo AM/F Gunnar Thorvaldsson (Iceland) has been on a one week trial and scored two goals for AGF in a 2nd team test-match. Thorvaldsson who is hoping to get a contract with AGF, has played the past 3 years for ÍBV in the Icelandic league. In 2002 he scored 11 goals for his team and was named "talent of the year" in Iceland, last year he scored 10 goals in the short 18 games-season for his Icelandic club...When Thorvaldsson was 16-yo he was on trial at Tottenham Hotspur and was so convincing, that the club wanted to see him again. Unfortunately short after he broke his leg.

Then two years ago he played a training match and scored a goal for the Belgian club Mouscron, but again he got seriously injured, this time during the match, and was taken to the hospital and had to undergo surgery... so yet again he was unlucky not to get a contract with a foreign club. But perhaps AGF will sign him when his contract with ÍBV expires in September 2004, if he dosnt get unlucky/injured one more time ;)...

    Brøndby - FC Midtjylland 2-1 (0-1)
    0-1: Mohamed Zidan (45.)
    1-1: Thomas Kahlenberg (88.)
    2-1: Mattias Jonson (89.)
    Attendance: 17,063

Not that good a first half. The Brøndby team without key midfielder Morten Wieghorst, looked worried, making many mistakes vs. a FCM team not playing that well either, except for the solo-preformance by Zidan "crusing" by 2-3 Brøndby defenders and scoring in the last seconds of the first half, also showing his creativity and excellent technique and terrific dribbling skills throughout the 2nd half, though Brøndby looked more in control playing a much better 2nd half, putting pressure on FCM, still with FCM counter attacking and having some good opportunities ...However, Brøndby managed to get the 3 points with the Swedish International Mattias Jonson scoring the important 2-1 goal in the last minute... A deserve win but also a bit lucky...

    Esbjerg - FC København 0-2 (0-1)
    0-1: Peter Møller (11.)
    Red card: Peter Christiansen,FCK (58.)
    0-2: Todi Jónsson (90.)
    Attendance: 13,713

FCK played an excellent first half, putting constant pressure on Esbjerg who was trying to fight back with some hopeless "Norwegian Longball". FCK should have scored at least 2 more goal on some huge 100% chances. In 2nd half Esbjerg played much better and took control of the match, and with FCK getting a red card with 32 minutes left, FCK had to defend, not even being able to produce one single attempt on goal, but though it was Esbjerg having all the play and ball possession, they didnt manage to create that many real opportunities vs. an excellent defending FCK team, so in the end the Faroese FCK striker Todi Jónsson scored the winning goal on FCK first real chance in the 2nd half. However, it was a deserved win to FCK against a young Esbjerg team who have shown that they were not experienced enough to keep cool and be able to compete in the last 3 very important games... FCK on the other hand, have now won both their key-games, and are now the big favorites to win the Danish Championship...
