Hey gang, the Barra Brava website has been officially brought up to date. There is some great stuff in there. The pictures from the Fire victory and Crew are now there, and the latest thoughts from "Senor Barra" himself. If you do not see the new pics be sure to hit F5 on your keyboard to clear the old site from your browser. --Vamos United!!!!

I wonder what "Anacostia Front" real estate goes for these days?

Has to be a new record for Oscar and myself.
I think Lot 8 is some sort of metaphysical bugzapper for lunatics. Scary stuff mixed with pure art and a few great looking women.

It warms my heart to see all of the wonderful smiles on beaming faces.

Great pix, especially of Kim, Nadia, Jane, Gino's two-steppin' sister, and other beautiful incognitos.

I sure wish Jerry and some of the other Barra MIAs were here.

nice piece there marshall. with that, ed's new piece and ian's, i have done little but read and look at photos today.

good photos, really captured the return of all that is right to the banks of the anacostia. how nice to be among my brothers and sisters to celebrate goals and wins instead of missed chances and draws.

the barra have been strong and steadfast all through this dark period and we will be there as we return to glory as well.

    barra-brava+tomorrow's game...

Same thing here...I get the following error message:

    Error:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The account you have tried to access does not exist, has not been setup or is disabled.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, does anyone have tickets for the game tomorrow they can't use and would be willing to take a pre-dated check (for 6/24/03)??? I really wanna go to the game, but I am broke and don't get paid until Tuesday...I'd need two tickets, preferably in the Barra-Brava or Screaming Eagle section--and how do you get an invite to tailgate parties???? If nobody does, at least it's on CSN, but there's nothin' like being there.........RavennaW

I don't know about the check man, but you can always stop by the Barra tailgate. You don't need an invite! We are the friendly supporters group. (unless your wearing a yellow izod! ;) )

--I think if you beg and borrow you will get enough to get in at the tailgate... (or at least get drunk :))

    barra-brava+tomorrow's game...(today's game)

FYI - barra-brava.com still not online...

What time do the tailgate parties start? Do I have to be a hispanic male to join Barra-Brava? I tried to join the Screaming Eagles but they never got back to me...Both my daughter and I want to join Barra-Brava; we both love futbal so much that we think we were born in the wrong country--:O) How much would I have to beg/borrow to get in to the tailgate??? what if I don't drink??? from RavennaW, DCU supporter since '96

barra brava members can be whomever the f__ they want to be as long as they love United and want to be part of a great group of people. you don't have to be male, latino or anything to join the barra. feel free to stop by the tailgate (south part of lot 8) and check the Barra out and find out more about membership and some exciting new things we will be doing as the season progresses. you are welcome as my guest.

I've been curious about Barra Brava as well. From 96-01 I was lucky enough to have season tickets w/my family but they have this crazy idea that now that i'm in college I can pay my own way. My friend and I have gone to every game this season but we are tired of sitting in sections where nobody yells except when its "down in front". We are looking to meet more DC United fans and sit somewhere where we aren't the only ones cheering. I've been hesitant to attend the tailgates though b/c I don't want to be that weird girl crashing the party. Do ya'll have info at the games on how to join or should I just check out the website?
BTW are there any gmu students in barra brava?
