I read that the GK is Vito Mannone who was just signed from Atalanta.

    Yeah...I'd say that's accurate.

Injuries supposedly derailed his career at Barcelona. Even if he doesn't make it, what's the risk, compared to the possibly huge reward?

    Arsene knows.

I see Hleb scored quickly, but how was his performace throughout the match. Was he strong on the ball? Was he consistant? Anyone who was there. love to hear more.

hleb seemed quite good from what i saw. he got an early goal, made some fantastic passes and seemed generally to be around the park quite alot. impressive is the word i would use to describe his debut!

Just to note on Christanval. He hasn't played for Marseille, but he's competing with Dehu, Beye, and Miete.

The 3 central defenders are the reason L'OM have played w/ only a back 3 and not 4-4-2.

I'm very curious about Christanval, if anything, what he needs is a few games, because as I recall he didn't even get that at Marseille.

If Christanval didnt get games at Marseille do we really think hes gonna get games at Arsenal, especially with Kolo,Sol and Senderos in front of him??

If he plays anything like the Christanval who got capped 6 times by France, I'd much rather have him as a number 4, than Cygan.

With the way our central defenders go down I'm sure he'll be getting games.

I tried to download the video from home and it was going to take 2 hours-did it at work and it took 50 secs. Thanks MMM!

Bergy's goal was class. Nice to see the new signing in on the action to-go Hleb.
