We get the Fighting Titus Brambles at home this week. It's going to be aired on tape delay on FSC, I forget the time (4 or 6 EST I think).

At any rate, possibly no Sibierski for them, while we're pretty much fighting fit except for at right back. Most important, Titus Bramble plays for Wigan now, not us. Of course with our luck he'll score a hat trick.

    2-0 to the good, methinks.

He's only saying what everyone else knows. And for future reference, please post the link and then a few significant quotes. Otherwise it's a pain to read.

2-0 N'Zog and Martins continue their form. I am curious to see if N'Zog plays in the midfield and who plays in the back 4.

Actual bets from paddypower on line betting on Shambles performance.

Yeah, it's chopping at times, I don't think it's my computer either. What Asian language is this?

Funny stuff from the crowd, singing, One Titus Bramble, there's only one Titus Bramble after his clearance. The annoucnsers were having a bit of chuckle about that almost handball call, maybe dogging Bramble out.

Only game with no goals in the first half! How many chances can Smith and Butt blow?

After that sending off, the Lads have to turn up the pace and go for the beatdown. No excuses, up a man, play smart and wear them down.

Yeah I hear you, I'm watching it now. For some odd reason I just didn't even remember it was Saturday so I didn't set my alarm. Oh well. I could have waited but whatever.

After Taylor hit the bar I thought we were going to lose.

Goal disallowed wrongly. Twice in two weeks we were screwed by the linesman.
Handball by Bramble inside (and outside) the box not called.
    Butt saved. Owen saved.
    Taylor scored, offside.
Butt missed. Owen missed. Ameobi missed (badly). Taylor headed wide.

How does Heskey escape without a booking. Arm to face of Butt, split his lip. Arm to face of Taylor, knocked him for a loop (literally and figuratively). Arm to face of Harper, nearly knocked him out. Heskey is the biggest danger in the league and I hope Fat Sam has someone put paid to him the next time we see him.

Here's to Little Mickey staying healthy over the next week.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Well, I've been giving BSA his due credit for the work in the transfer market but I think some of his field decisions today were absolute shit. Of course this can easily be hidden by the late goal and three points. Here are some thoughts for those who have seen the match:

    1. Steve Bennett and his crew almost screwed us once again. Owen's early goal called back for off side was onside by close to a yard. It wasn't even close to level. Pathetic job by a linesman in the third division much less the EPL. So I guess in the end what I'm about to say shouldn't matter if not for inept refs.

    2. Yes, Oba made a nice cross for the goal but it is still a ridiculous waste to play our best player out of position as a winger or mid on either side of the field. Anyone remember him in the match the first 15-20 minutes he was on? Ridiculous.

    3. Alan Smith is great to have has a hard worker on the squad but he is an absolute retard. He definitely is a waste as a right sided mid.

    4. Nicky Butt....please never shoot again. Why was he playing as the box to box while Geremi stayed in front of the back 4? NB couldn't put it in the pond from 5 feet away. Good work in the middle as usual but his attacking decisions and finishing are horrendous. He is a holding mid, period.

    5. Yes things turned out well but they fookin' should when you play more than 40 minutes up a man.

    Now for some positives:

    1. Cacapa looks like an absolutely brilliant buy.

    2. Taylor when ready to play RB looked solid today and played a great ball that setup the goal.

    3. Milner is still looking very dangerous. Hopefully Enrique works out and he can get to play some on the right side. He will be an absolute nightmare for defenders if they didn't know he was looking to cut back 90% of the time.

    4. The defense is looking solid and BSA has really built up a fighting spirit already. All of our players seem willing to play wherever needed and do a job without a fuss.

    5. Undefeated and 8 points from four matches! :D

Of course I don't think my complaints would be so easily overlooked if our schedule this far hadn't been so easy.

Completely agree! WTF is with the idiot announcer saying Heskey had every right to the ball on Harper? He was still, two yards away when Harper gathered. Yeah he had the right to go in for the ball but no field player has a right to extend their arm fully in front at the goalie's face. Thank God I didn't have to listen to his idiotic commentary for another minute. I say if the match at Wigan has been decided we send in Smith to end his career.

    Shhhhhhh........;)

Absolutely! Viduka tries to set up Butt...uhm, shouldn't that be the other way around?! Couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a bazooka.
