Thjs team needs about 10 new players and I include the bench in that as well. That bench tonight is atrocious and a weak bench ain’t winning you a league over 38 games. Never has done.

 

Sometimes I think "Why does Vini hate Fran Garcia?" Then I remember he ignores pretty much any runs by any leftback.

 

Look at the players playing now in Barca, do you think they would be able to play @ Madrid? I mean look how many min Endrik got! Out MAJOR problem is, we only look for name players, not what we need.
Mbappe is a great example. He is an amazing player, but we lose Kroos and Modric was 40, did we *NEED* him? no! if we got him AND replacement for Kroos and Modric then 100%.

Again, issue is NOT him , its we lost players who were not replaced!

 

They need a win and for better or worse it's part of the fun. It's especially fun when you consider that cynics tend to score lower on cognitive/academic tests. We're all supposed to be on the same side, but some people prefer the easy way out. Cowardice.

Vini plays like a LWF ala prime Cristiano but his finishing is so shoddy. He'd be far more productive if he'd play like a typical winger.

 

Problem with that is , IMO of course , everyone cannot play, only 11 can play and without a doubt his role is as a backup striker, he hasn't been frozen out of the squad, it's the starting 11 where he suffers and that's not surprising, no coach is sitting Kylian for him, no matter how many bad misses Kylian has had, it really does not happen

Gonzalo literally had an opportunity at goal that Mbappe would have not even challenged for, one player try's to win the ball in the air, is willing to sacrifice his body to attempt to win the ball from defenders, the other is walking around 70% of the time, doesn't make runs and is as useful when the ball is in the air as 13 year old learning to trap and control the ball out of the air.

 

People have been criticizing Trent, but imo he has been the best creative outlet. Can’t wait to have a coherent team. This guy will create so much danger offensively. Of course he needs to smarten up defensively

That's one of the many problems. Square pegs and round holes. There can be no chemistry or foundational play to develop from. Everything is stop start.

Bellingham is an absolute ghost. Mr Big ball nowhere to be seen. Vinny reverting back to his baseline form. Diaz trying too much. Gonzalo just out of his league. Tchoumeni and Cama have been trying at least. Trent with some good passes. Ascensio knows he’s getting sold this summer so he’s like “I don’t care” and Fran should join Gonzalo at Rayo next year.
