I knew I had to watch this one!!! Im so depressed only ESPN + showed this game (only airs in Argentina not the rest of Latin America!!)
anyway, Topo Gigio was the soul of the team as Antic said he did almost everything... and fine!!!

This ought to help our Goal Differential :)

What do you guys think about Overmars, it seems that he is having a bit of resurgence the second half of the year. All the press reports mention how he brings the attack to the opponents etc...Sicne i have not been able to witness this first hand, I was curious what those of you who are able to watch this on TV (Mario) :) think of his chances of staying on, or if you would want him to.

I totally forgot about this thread (I knew I had something unfinished! *slaps in the forehead*) sorry for the delay.

Last sunday Overmars scored his first double dressed in blaugrana, hes a regular starter now (and used properly on the right band) I think his main problem is hes waaaayyy too injury prone, however when fit hes a constant threat, in an interview he recognized the team was uneffective in the second half and stated the first two goals were crucial fort he team's morale, Kluivert and his topo gigio celebration after a month+ of drought and Riquelme after all the critics to both of them (BTW Kluivert celebrate like that cuz he promised to JRR that if he assisted him and scored he'd do it, later Roman admitted Patrick is a man of his word cuz he did it) so that shows Overmars is a man that plays for the team, he was very satisfied with his performance and was quoted: "I always want to score, that makes you feel comfortable" add to that that he scored in a position hes not accostumed to (although hes right he has been playing in the left band for the last 6 years or so, plus he likes to switch bands) but all in all hes useful and deserves a shot in the main eleven if the injuries doesnt show up!
