No real surprise here I guess. Now I'm just wondering 'which' matches will be played outside the Nou Camp: http://www.uefa.com/footballcentral/News/Kind=2/newsId=61399.html
I they hire me I'll do it for free!!! Barcelona have vowed to fight on in their battle to stop the Camp Nou being closed, after the club failed in their latest bid to Spain's Sporting Disciplinary Committee (CEDD). The Catalans have 30 days to appeal against the latest decision to enforce a two-match closure of their ground and a €4000 fine for crowd disturbances during the lcash with Real Madrid last November. "FC Barcelona will continue with the legal line of defence to stop the ground being closed for any length of time," said a club spokesman. The decision taken by the CEDD was ratified on Tuesday by the Appeal Committe of the Spanish Football Federation. The punishment was handed down after Barcelona fans threw missiles, among them a whisky bottle and a pig's head, at Madrid's former Camp Nou hero Luis Figo. Barca have taken measures to prevent a repeat of the incidents as they erected nets behind each goal, further crowd segregation, strict searches at turnstiles and increased the number of stewards in the stadium.
