Barcelona have moved to deny speculation linking them with a move for England coach Sven Goran Eriksson. The Catalan giants have already told incumbent coach Raddy Antic that he will not be kept on in the summer, despite revitalising the club's fortunes since taking over from Louis Van Gaal. With presidential elections at the Camp Nou scheduled for July, the new supremo will want to introduce his own man to take charge of team affairs. But no contact has been made with Eriksson, according to the club's director general Javier Perez Farguell. "It is not true that we have spoken to Sven Goran Eriksson or any of his representatives," he explained. "Of course, many different names will be mentioned before the end of the season, but we have not done anything yet. "Speculation is all part of the game, but we will not be looking for a new coach until much nearer the end of the current season."
