It's just their way of keeping the audience there - why would you watch the news coverage of a called election if your candidate has lost?
Nothing. They sent Megyn Kelly down to their calculation center (tally room), where the number crunchers calmly stated that the areas of Ohio that have yet to report are overwhelmingly Democratic, and that Karl Rove is wrong in his calculations & estimations. They came back to the main studio, where Rove is continuing to say that there are large Republican areas left to report, of the million+ outstanding. It shouldn't be long, until the totals are completed.
Letter props are on a county-by-county basis, so you have to specify which county. Lots don't even have a B. Berkeley, I think, goes past Z into Klingon letters.
Oregon sucks: Jacob Sullum@jacobsullum Oregon's marijuana legalization initiative defeated (as expected), 54% to 46% (97% counted). #elections
Not sure if those are typos ("his side if the river") or if I'm not the only one who's been drinking. This is the Minnesota SOS page for Bachmann's district. http://electionresults.sos.state.mn.us/ENR/Results/CongressionalResults/1?id=561 as of this typing: 45% of precincts reporting, Bachmann ahead by ~2300 votes and ~1.4% of the vote.
ABC Projection: Fifth amendment opposers and indefinite detention supporters sweep all 538 electoral votes.
Yeah, Measure B here in San Mateo County is to change the election of supervisors from county-wide to specific districts -- apparently, San Mateo County is the only county out of 58 counties in California which elects its supervisors at-large (i.e. the whole county votes for every supervisor -- every other county has specific districts for each supervisor). I haven't seen any results yet on that one. I voted no, if that helps.
Lol....iPad error. I am actually from the other side of the river...and they are nuts over there as well. I think MB is going to win, but that I think that is the closest she has had it.
