I'm averaging 3 a season since the 1st. Too many BEAT games interfere with the Silverbacks games and i'm still a little sore with Mrs. Morgan even though she isn't with the BEAT anymore. But i still love the team and do like to come to a few games when i have the opportunity. i like to see how Miller and Bivens are doing and Dayna, gosh the whole bunch; and i've been watching the "latest" star on the team lighting up the scoreboard. What a great addition she seems to be! Looks like things are going well at the BEAT and i think that is great. THIS IS THE YEAR of the BEAT!! i can feel it; i really didn't last season but i feel it this season!!! WAR BEAT!!

Well, i just looked all over the site and now i can't find it. when i did a Yahoo search on Atlanta Beat fan club it mentions the official atlanta beat fan club and the link brings you to Atlanta's news site but i don't see any news out there on this; perhaps it was an old piece of news; perhaps from last season. i haven't been keeping up with my Beat news like i should be. My Apologies for the "bad" info. it wasn't done purposefully; i could have swore i saw it on the web site also. B.

lol, I nominate Dr. Mike be the new official Beat mascot. Mike, if you can find a cure or a vaccine for SARS, I think Taiwan might make you the mascot of the entire island.
If SARS is like most other coronoviruses, there will not be a vaccine in the near future. Both killed and live virus vaccines for other coronaviruses make the diseas WORSE, rather than prevetning it.
That is what we have been hearing here. The virus is really a problem here. There is real fear that with the rainy season coming soon, the virus will be out of control on the entire island. The death toll is rising daily and the case load is in the hundreds, approaching the thousands. BTW, the Taiwanese are thankful for the help that the CDC has provided, knowing that the WHO has abandoned us.
SARS virus has now been found in 6 civit cats, one raccoon dog, and one badger, all from a wild animal market in China. Now who wants to speciulate whether they got it from us, or they gave it to us?
