Ban for Boa Morte, Fulham striker Luis Boa Morte has been banned for one match and fined £4,000 following an incident during the 2-0 victory over Leicester in October. Boa Morte was found guilty of improper conduct after an alleged stamp on Leicester defender Frank Sinclair. He was charged after the FA studied video evidence of an incident, which was missed by referee Chris Foy. Boa Morte, who scored twice in Fulham's win, has just served a three-game ban for a red card against Liverpool. His second suspension of the season will come into effect from 29 December, ruling him out of the FA Cup third-round tie against Cheltenham on 3 January. Boa Morte was sent off against Liverpool last month for what his own manager Chris Coleman called an "horrific challenge" on Florent Sinama-Pongolle. "He's a lovely lad but gets frustrated and lacks discipline at times," Coleman said at the time. Sinclair played down the incident at Loftus Road, but the FA decided to punish Boa Morte nonetheless. The Portuguese international also ran into disciplinary trouble last season, when he was shown 12 yellow cards. Statistics showed that Boa Morte was both Fulham's most fouled player last season - and the Cottagers player who committed the most fouls.
Premier got two set of rules again? how come the Arsenal players didn't get any suspension in the game with Manchester United ? the Premier is a joke, between Permits, suspensions, drugs, just a joke
You would have a valid point if your assertions were true. Ray Parlour, Patrick Vieira, Martin Keown and Lauren all received suspensions for their roles in the Man U game.
Yes I do, and its not the suspension they deserve, why picking on Boa Morte all the time. its a no suspension
Frank, Boa Morte's actions definitely deserved a suspension. He is very fortunate that it was only one game.
