A good day for Balili!!! He was the man of the game..

as u can see, Balili is perfect for Striker. He needs to be an original striker, and not reformed and sitting out in NT games..

I think he can be a top scorer...adding him and omri afek and that other guy...who scored like 5 goals in 7 games? ech korim lo?

It was in the Yedioth Aharonoth daily that Christoph Daum of Fenerbahce wants to buy Pini Balili. All over the Turkish media they said that Pini Balili is the fastest player in the entire league and they have nicknamed him, "Speedy Balili".

He can really be an asset right now for Fener and then perhaps to play in another european team, hopefully one in Holland :D

I'm afraid Balili might just be the flavor of the month in the Turkish League. Those sort of strikers tend to be bad midseason purchases.

There's not so much to Balili's game to begin with- either the Turkish defenders will figure him out or he'll hit a little slump and then the Fener fans will turn on him quickly...better off staying at Istanbulspor to be the hero at a smaller club, at least in the short term...but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Arab-Israeli Salim Toama is attracting attention once again from Turkey but this time from Makina Kimya Endüstrisi Ankaragücü Spor Kulübü. I don't believe that he will sign with them. Earlier in the season he rejected a contract offer from Istanbulspor Spor Faaliyetleri ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi and decided to sign with Maccabi Petah Tikva instead, what a great idea that turned out to be. So once again we will have tons of rumors but nothing will happen.

you are wrong! This man has speed and power! Not many do in europe and especially, i cannot think of a faster player in israel too!!!

We just gotten get him ready to being a neutral striker, thats all! I think he can do well. He is very talented and very athletic..

Fenerbahce will serve him will :) plus redeem israel for what revivo caused to them!

He so far has been okay for the national team with 2 goals in four matches. But, Balili is a hot streak player. He had one goal in all of his first three games at the club, then he it a dry spell until this last match where he scored two goals. He was even a bench player the last couple of games, this was all while he was playing "natural" striker as you like to call it. Bottom line, the Fener experience is too demanding. They turned on Revivo everytime his form dropped just a little.

According to Ha'aretz, Istanbulspor's asking price for the striker would be about $3-4 million. That is alot of Lira! It is exaclty 4,304,880,610,214.43 Turkish Lira, and is only if they get $3 million for him.

  15. I just found this on the Sport5 website. It is an interview from Hadashot haSport with Pini Balili. It also shows the goals from the Gala match.

Click here. The link takes you to the page just click on the Balili picture.
