    Marcelo Balboa annouced thursday that he was retiring from soccer.. More on this in the MLS news... board!!!

    Maybe he and Eric Wynalda can be our PBP guys instead of Rob and Ty.

    I almost cried when Lahuk Do Ragh of the Pakistan 1st divison retired during the week to... : )

    Give him his due. Balboa is an all-time great. It's unfortunate that Sampson didn't really appreciate him. Seems like we're still waiting for the next US defender of his class, someone with talent and poise to lead the defense.

    Beyond that he was one of my very favorites. Good luck Marcelo.
