The new album hits Nov 5 in the US. You can listen to mp3 samples here. I'm not competely sold on Badly Drawn Boy but I did enjoy most of The Hour of The Bewilderbeast and About A Boy. The new one is decidedly funkier and I like what I've heard so far. Opinions?
I've only heard the single, but I like it a lot. What I really want to hear is the bonus live disc that some stores will give away with early pruchases of the new album. I saw him his first time through NYC and loved the show, and I'd like to see how his songs sound live in my living room.
Bewilderbeast could be such a great record with just a wee bit o' editing. Hopefully somebody whispered some constructive criticism in his ear for this one. I'm looking forward to hearing it.
