If people are too damn stupid not to understand that a striker is somebody whose responsibility is to strike the ball towards the opposition's goal... not sure what else to say. Soon we'll call defenders interceptors, high playing, covering 4, false 4 (you know the defender that acts like he's not a defender but defends by going outside of the box instead of playing inside of the box)... Strikers are specialist at the job......If i go by ur logic then Dante can also be a striker coz he too has a go at the opposition goal....Infact everyone of brazil wants to score goals except goalkeeper. So u can call everybody a striker.......STRIKERS ARE SPECIALIST POSITION. like ronaldo, benzema, messi etc etc.
