Back to back semi final loses for this team. It would've been nice to see them go against Portugal again. At least they have a chance for a trophy this time around, they will play Brazil for the bronze.
Yes I would like the team to go for the podium spot. it would be nice to see a result against Brazil.
The Azzurrini win 3rd place, congrats to them. They finished the job best they could. Out of 48 teams. We have got to reform and funnel our youth success!
I didn’t see the game, but they outshot Brazil 20-5. But I think Brazil got a red card in the 15th min of the game. Not sure why Inacio didn’t play.
Inácio got a red card at the very very end of the semi final game so he wasn’t eligible. Italy was up in men but from what I saw they struggled to create chances.
Inacio was good in the group stage but i was disappointed with his performances in the last few games. I think he is overated to be honest.
Italy U17 beat Brazil on penalties to secure the bronze medal at the World Cup It's their best-ever result at this age group
La Dea may have struck gold bringing in Palla after the Juric draw specialist masterclass. We shall see. I think Inacio Pia played some for La Dea
After the territorial selections for the North, South, Central-North and Central areas, which took place respectively in Novarello (16 October), Catanzaro (23 October), Coverciano (30 October) and Rome (6 November), and after the Christmas Tournament, held from 21 to 23 November once again in Novarello, the Under-15 National Team is preparing for its first official outing, scheduled from 15 to 20 December at the St George's Park National Football Centre in Burton upon Trent, England, for the UEFA Development Tournament. Coach Enrico Battisti has called up 22 players, all born in 2011, who will gather tomorrow, Thursday 11 December, in Granozzo con Monticello, in the province of Novara, before departing for England on Sunday 14 December. The list features two boys who play in Germany, both at Stuttgart: defender Domenico Lanatà and midfielder Daniele Geraci. The only player competing for a Serie C club is Albinoleffe forward Massimo Falce. The only one, instead, who took part last season in the final phase of the Under-14 National Tournament “The Evolution Programme Footballer”, one of the flagship projects of the Youth and School Sector held from 9 to 11 May at the Olympic Preparation Centre in Tirrenia, is defender Alessandro Gennaro Esposito. The latter moved from the amateur club Victoria Marra in Campania to Juventus this summer. The Azzurrini will make their debut on Monday 15 December (4:00 p.m. local time, 5:00 p.m. Italy) against Spain’s same-age side, before facing Iceland and hosts England on Wednesday 17 (12:00 p.m. local, 1:00 p.m. Italy) and Saturday 20 December (10:30 a.m. local, 11:30 a.m. Italy), respectively. LIST OF CALLED-UP PLAYERS Goalkeepers: Matteo Bondone (Genoa), Alessandro Posocco (Udinese); Defenders: Lorenzo Allara (Juventus), Matthew Appiah Boateng (Parma), Giulio Cacucciolo (Torino), Niccolò Chieffallo (Roma), Mirko Danza (Atalanta), Alessandro Gennaro Esposito (Juventus), Domenico Lanatà (Stuttgart), Saverio Angelo Mesecorto (Sassuolo); Midfielders: Daniele Geraci (Stuttgart), Alessandro Grigioni (Inter), Gianmarco Menicagli (Empoli), Abdl Salam Musah (Fiorentina), Alessio Nobile (Juventus), Diego Succi (Cesena), Marco Vaccarella (Juventus); Forwards: Alberto Bellei (Atalanta), Massimo Falce (Albinoleffe), Leonardo Rossini (Milan), Stefano Scerbo (Napoli), Lorenzo Vitali (Parma).
