Il problema che comunque Ambrosini non è una prima punta su cui appoggiarsi, Purproppo la mancanza dei due Esposito si sente:(

The Pio Esposito injury was a killer as this would be an entirely different team with that punto di riferimento up front. Nunziata though is fully to blame for not calling Seba Esposito. Made no sense.

Indestructible -- I actually really like your lineup. It's solid in the middle and back and gives the wingers freedom to attack with pace. While Ambrosini is not a prima punta, he's good enough to play up top when needed.

I have zero clue how Ndour won man of the match. His best plays were when his big body just blocked a cross or shot. We need more out of the big man than that.

Sono d'accordo con te su Ambrosino. Ma che scelta c'è? Gnonto e Baldanzi sembrano Tom e Jerry in questo attacco.

I’m surprised yet not surprised this hasn’t caused more controversy in Italy. But Pio Esposito looks completely fine and he is training with Inter. IMO his injury was never serious.

Also I think a nice opportunity was lost here by not inviting Camarda. I know he’s a bit younger, but Camarda has always been the youngest on his teams. Also the field is a little light. The only two other 9s in this cycle were Colombo and Raimondo.

I like this in fact this is maybe a shape we should focus on at all levels a pure 433 is not us but a modified 4231is essentially what we have always used when we've won tournaments whether it looked like a 442 or 352 on paper or not.

The wingers can drop a bit and the number 10 can be a bull he does not have to be a pure fantasy player. Casadei has a Jude Bellingham about him.

Looks like a 4321 with Fazzini and Pissili behind Ambrosino neither wingers get the start.

Fazzini is quite the talent. Haven't seen a ton of him prior to this.

    Beautiful goal by Pisilli

there is no reason he shouldn't be on a top team and playing for Italy midfielders with half his stats are thrown into the deep end for Spain Germany Portugal England. For me he is jumping ahead of Baldanzi who is also quite good.

Fazzini reminds me a bit of a young De Bruyne.

we are better than Spain at this level mind you they could be fielding Gavi Pedri Yamal and Nico Williams

From the little I watched from this game, it looks like our bench players are very capable. I don’t know how Nunziata goes back to Fabbian or Ndour next game as the mezzala. Pisilli should start IMO. Also Fazzini deserves a lot more consideration

so I suppose we will play Germany in the last 8? Seems like all of the final 8 teams will be strong.

Spain has won the group, so I believe Italy will play the group winner of Germany/England. They play head to head tomorrow to determine that.

Anything can happen at these tournaments, as you said. Italy still has a formidable side here and looks really sturdy on the backline, so they should be a tough out.

Very impressed with our B team, we barely missed a beat, I;m assuming Spain rested their guys too?? Not to sure who their best players are but as mentioned lots missing from this team...

Spain did not have many good chances andtowards the end we clearlry looked the better team. Pissili has the Pessina thing going on ...maybe that will work for Gasp. He's athletic and has heart. His strike was very well taken. Fazzini was a standout for me...he's really class on the ball. I agree that he needs consideration in the knockouts. he may start if Baldanzi is still hurt.
