With the group games in Italy, it would be a massive fail if they didn't top the group.

Grealish pulled the strings when Liverpool lost 7-2 to Aston Villa. He goes down when he wants, but at the same time he tends to ride challenges and draw defenders when he wants too. He's always in control like that. He has an eye for the pass and great skill. He's like England's version of Insigne, Chiesa, or Zaniolo. He belongs in that kind of bracket of player.

Grealish is a fantastic player. He belongs in the champions league.

ok maybe im wrong.. for me i don't see it..but we all have our opinions. don't think he's terrible by any means..i just think he gets that prem bias. saw some guys on twitter saying hes the next Messi lol.

besides the point.. he plays higher up the pitch.. my initial point was england have little to be desired in the center of the pitch

Slim Shady gets the first goal lol. and i think Ferrari just got the 2nd.

at least the C squad is finally getting a few goals against a team we should be blowing out. Castrovilli for me looks like he's solidifying his spot on the team with a good performance so far today.

Moise Kean played the first half. Still think we should take him.. but not as a starting #9. Tends to float out wide right too often. Albeit something like that might work with a Berardi starting on the RW as he can interchange with Kean and has a good eye for the net.

    5-0 Pessina.

Castrovilli unlucky to not score that hit from long range.. and Pessina puts home the rebound off the post.

I don’t like it, but I’m afraid you’re right. As they say in Italy, “che culo rotto.” Terrible all season for Juventus, but stands out in what we’ll call the final “tryout” for making the squad against an extremely poor San Marino. If Politano played all season at the level he played after Christmas, he probably would’ve been included in the March friendlies and maybe would’ve had more of a say in making the team.

    mancini or toloi

    pessina or cristante

Seems like he'll decide between the two Roma v Atalanta duels for the final two spots.

im glad Po-po-po-Politano made it. he's been excellent the last few months.

Obviously one of Mancini or Toloi are getting cut, but there is a good chance that Sensi will miss out due to fitness.

I would have brought Kean in lieu of Bernardeschi but it's hard to argue that our best players aren't there. I am happy with the selection.

The only surprise for me is the exclusion of Castrovilli. I thought he was being brought in to be a stand in for Zaniolo (big mezzala). I have no idea what he sees in Cristante. Such an average player.

He could have brought in Kean as a joker card to insert in the attack, but Mancini wasn't going to drop his CF's Belotti/Immobile or his boy Bernadeschi. I think Berardi is a better player rn anyway who can fill that roll.

We're putting our best foot forward. Hopefully Verratti, Sensi and Spina makes some recovery gains

True on Sensi... i think it would have to take quite the injury to leave him out. even if hes out the first game or two IMO i would take him.

Normally, I would agree 100%, but Verratti is set to miss some group stage games as well. Does Mancini want to take two guys who are hurt? Honestly, I wouldn’t. And Sensi is a bit more expendable. I’m betting on Toloi and Sensi to get the boot. Even with the three extra spots, two will go towards a 5th CB, and a fifth winger. You need that third spot for a healthy mid, especially if gambling on Verratti.

I'm just glad to have a coach with some sense, Mancini is very consistent and very committed to the NT.
