Well, at least they keep posting new news on their website. The latest thing is a Founders Club Doing the math, it seems like an OK deal to me. I'm still mulling it over. If they manage to get their 100 people, that's a nice $25,000 that goes towards a little advertisement.
Ah-ha! You beat me to it. I just saw this, too, and came over to mention it. Yeah, $250 might work. The 2 season tickets would be $100 by themselves. Though frankly, I'd rather have t-shirts than polos. I'm just not a polo-wearing kind of guy.
I wonder if they'd let us trade. I also wonder if there's anyone that makes nice light scarves. I love my Sam's Army scarf... but it's only sensible to have it one week out of the year. Though I do wear it more often than that
Light scarves sounds better than the heavy ones during the summer time. I agree that t-shirts or jerseys sound better than the polo shirts.
The Battery's official scarf is a light weight silk style. I believe they got them from Italy. I'm going to the FO next week and will see if I can find out their source. The ones the supporters have made are traditional English style scarves. Mikey
Well, I just signed up to be a Founders Club member. It helps to have a birthday coming up. If I get any special information out of the deal, I'll try to pass it along.
Alistair probably beat him to it. With the current exchange rate, he found the money in his piggy bank.
Got an email from an Aztex person asking for my shirt size for the Founders Club, so I took the opportunity to ask a couple of questions. Here's her reply: Arg, 8th. Why did I wait all weekend? Sounds like a pretty good start, though. Any other questions I should pass on? Or, obviously, feel free to contact her yourself (krawlins@austinaztex.com).
