I have a really nasty feeling lads, a really nasty feeling.

If this useless, egotistical lump of flat-pack furniture becomes Newcastle Manager next season, I will not give one penny of my hard earned cash to Newcastle United. To be frank I'd rather keep Souness, and that's saying something. Fuck it, I'd rather have that tree hugging gypo, Hoddle, than Sven's Adult Books.

I'm not a religious man, but I am writing this on my knees, praying to anyone who will listen.

Freddy, if you take this man on as manager, I may as well kiss goodbye to my AA meetings. Think on fat lad.......

Interesting theory, use him to force Souness out without having to pay any compensation.

I have a feeling that this is probably going to be more entertaining than the football for the rest of the season.

As someone not too familiar with the English national team...what's so bad about Eriksson?

He doesn't know his arse from his elbow when it comes to team selection, tactics and not doing bloody stupid things.

Freddy should interview John Cleese instead.

Someone worse than Souness is a national team manager? Wow.

I tend to believe that Eriksson blew any chance of managing in the Prem with that News of the World debacle. Not that the FA has any say whatsoever in a club's decision-making, but they surely wouldn't be keen on it if they effectively forced him out of the England gig.

Eh, according to the gossip page on BBC Sport, Daily Express says NUFC are lining Eriksson up as the replacement to Souness. God, if ever I wished any newspaper at any time were full of shit, it's that one, and now.

Note to FF: Eriksson only looks good because even HE can't fvck up with the second-most talented squad in the world. Of course, he tried his hardest to do so.

I like Arena but no one in England will give him a shot until he proves himself on the continent or in the lower divisions. Plus Fat Freddy isn't smart enough to recognize proper coaching talent if it hit him on the head.
