No, I'm not suggesting that el Supremo has got a stalking problem! But, why are we wasting time shopping for talented, but unproven players; I thought that was the whole point of the youth system? In the 6/7 years AW has been at Highbury only Anelka has made it through to a regular first team place. Okay, you say we're building for the future, but, none of these guys are sticking around to be part of the future! Upson has left, Pennant is yapping his big gob again and we're trying to flog Frankie Glass Ankles to Brum for £5m. Lord only knows what will happen with Aliadiere when he's back from injury? On top this, we've got Tavlaridis, Volz, Svard and now Senderos and we're apparently looking at another wonderkind called Brede! Please Arsene Baby give it up, it ain't working! Spend the extra cash and buy players over 21 with potential and a track record. I know we made over £20m on Anelka and, with the current cashflow problems, another one of those would be very handy, but, I really don't think this is where the Gunners should to be focusing their energies right now. We need players who will come in and have an immediate impact. Then we can buy all the wonderkinds AW wants, with the trophies continuing to roll in and when Ashburton Grove is up and running and slewing out cash! Come on you Gunners!!!
