Hooliganism in MLS...I've booed a couple Chivas fans and yelled Shut out in their face before. But I really don't think MLS teams have firms...

Hooliganism in the MLS? What the Christ? I can't see how this book can be longer than two pages.

This is going to be all made up on BigSoccer post-game overreactions from minor tiffs outside the stadium....hell I could write the book on those.

When the Brits see the pics of the LA Riot Squad mauling those inflatable Chivas dolls, then they'll know the depths of our Hooligan depravity :D:rolleyes:

They do. They are pretty small and under the radar though. They also are not really past of the supporter scene we have here ob BS. But they do exist i have seen "firms" in NY and DC and i know Chicago has one running around. I would say almost every MLS team has that elelemnt somewhere in its ranks, just not on a massive scale.

I doubt every team has this element. DC, NY, Chicago, Houston, Chivas and maybe TFC....that's it. I just can't see anyone else with one. The others don't have the support to really have that element 'hiding' in their ranks. Just ain't there. SJ, LAG and others have had but right now? No.

Can a mod remove this post, there could be children viewing this thread and we don't need them seeing stuff like this, it could severely limit their growth as soccer fans, and human beings in general. Yes, these things exist in America, and abundantly in Dallas, but we as a society need to strive to keep it from spreading and eliminate it if possible.

    Please, think of the children.

Shitvas USA hooligans go out of their way to jump a lone rival supporter while he is taking a piss in the HDC Men's Room.

That's how brave their firm is.

Dont confuse supporters clubs with fronts for Firm activity. Most firms i have noticed in MLS are very small in numbers, generally at most no more than a dozen. They dont tend to fly big flags announcing themsleves as associates. They dont spend a lot of time on Bigsoccer. They tend to come to a handful of games a year and do their thing.

It out there, but its so under the radar for most fans they dont see it. Also these firms are not your traditional firms anyway.

I've had runins or talked to all 3 you mentioned and still not enough for a very short paragraph :D

it's on a level of "call up elevator and then run away" hooligan* and good thing

(*incidentaly that's how we described Russian hools in 80s and look at them now :D)

True, I just meant that in those particular cities, they have so many fans and large SGs that small groups of firms (those 12...) could easily fly under the radar and no one would be the wiser. Also, they tend to be the more...ahh...vocal supporters out there, thus giving way to the possibility of some screwy peeps.

In Columbus, though, can you honestly ever see a group of guys wandering around beating up visiting fans? I can't...their crowds never struck me that way and I've never heard of them. DC and NY...well, nuff said. As you know, you two have some history.

Anyway, I hope that these 'firms' (sure...) all gather in Frisco so we can just blow the whole lot of them strait to hell

    :D

    Continue....
