Yes, according to the Bundesliga site, the Austrian Intertoto Cup team will play their Georgian counterparts in the first round (June 21/22 and 28/29). Four teams said they'd participate: Pasching, Sturm Graz, Bregenz, and Ried. They finished in the order listed, so I'm pretty sure you'll be playing against Pasching.

I think you'll defenitely play against Pasching, because I've heard from somewhere that Rapid missed to participate...

    Pashing...?

Can someone tell me what is this club is like.Any good players?

WIT Georgia is a young team.we have an italian Coach who brough organisation into the team. Also we have a good striker.
WIT played Austrian Reid (i think ) and won by away rule (1-0 home,1-2 away) but now this club is relegated (?).
I hope the 2 games will be nice to watch
    cheers Ika

I'm not too familiar with their players, but Pasching was the surprise of the Bundesliga for most of the season. They were the team promoted to the Bundesliga this year, and with about a half-dozen games remaining, they were in second place behind runaway champions Austria Wien. A subpar finish landed them in fifth place at the end.

Pasching is a club from a small village with just about 6000 inhabitants. They played their first year in the first austrian league, and finished on position 5. They were also on 2nd position until the summer break. But now the miracle of Pasching lost its magic and I think WIT wont have problems with them. That team WIT had played before is called SV Ried (not Reid ;-) ), they relegated that season...

    Thanks guys for that information.
WIT is a young team and will need that experince even if its just two games.
    swiss GSZ
thanks for that .i personaly think we have a good chance of getting a draw. Exellent goalkeaper, Kaladze in defence and nice strikers so fungers crossed .
to be honest i think this group will go down to the wire ,and 1 place will be decided in Swi-Ire game and 2 place in Rus-Geo derby .
    thats just my feeling .
but team morale is high more then ever .
    cheers Ika

Here is Pasching's stadium (from eurostadiums.com)

It has a capacity of about 5,200. As you can see Pasching truly is a "dorfclub", meaning a small town team.

Sorry, I was not with it yesterday. The victory over Russia made my day. If Georgia was to win in Russia that would ceate havoc in the Russian Federation.
    Way off topic but:
Has any former Soviet republic beaten Russia in Russia?

    @ Swiss GCZ

nice pictures. looks like a small stadium . quite nice.
no Kavelashvili did not get a call. the coach Susak is trying to mix young players among old so some have to go( Ketsbaia, Jamarauli). good luck to his son in school and to your bro also )).

    @ Rob

from my mind i can only remember Unraine scoring 88 minute goal to draw 1-1 2 or 3 years ago. it was last game and they both needed a win .Shevchenko's goal buried Russia .France got 1 place and went through, while Ukraine lsot in playoffs to Slovenia

Are u people gonna win against Russia?
    good luck lads ..Ika

That is a nice looking stadium. For a town of only 6k, I would take that anyday.

The capacity is now about 7000 people, because a new section was built behind the second goal...

Nice. I heard Pasching won't be able to play there in the 1st round though?

There's no discussion that Pasching wont't be playing there. The Waldstadion is the best stadium you could have as a club like SV Pasching.
