rest of my squad in the similar thread in the Australian forum.

Big fan of Emmo's: he's in the squad for sure, on the bench for sure, and will start some games; gives Uncle Pim lots of options.

    I'd like to see:

[LINEUP-4-3-3]Ruka, Kewell, Emerton, Grella, Cahill, Wilkshire, Chippers, Niell, Kisnorbo, Williams, Schwarzer[/LINEUP-4-3-3]

I know Ruka is a bit underdone but he would give the option of swapping with Kewell throughout the game and making us a bit less one dimensional, and he is the only player we have with real pace.

Troisi or maybe Burns could also be an option, if with less pace, but they don't play the strikers role as well.

Vidosic would be more of a central option.

Kennedy is going to get creamed when up against the German or Serbian defense especially

[LINEUP-4-5-1]Kewell, Bresc, Emerton, Grella, Cahill, Wilkshire, Chippers, Kisnorbo, Neill, Williams, The Schwarz[/LINEUP-4-5-1]

Its our strongest 11, in terms of names and experience. I'm still not sure where the goals are coming from though!

I had to look at yours to workout how to do it:eek:

Ours are pretty similar, I'm just not convinced with Bresc out on th left. Unforntunately, whilst he is still a great player, he needs to be in Cahill's spot and that just wont happen. Ruka has the pace and, to a lesser extent, the ability to beat his man, and is more of a direct attacking option and goal threat. Persanally I would love to see Pims grow some balls and drop a DM for Bresc to be able to partner Timmy in the middle in some sort of 4-1-4-1 type of system, but that won't happen either.

I totally agree with you- but we all know Pim won't do it!

And don't worry- I had to quote someone to see how they did it too- and even then the midfield arrangement screwed me over- I had to edit my post 3 times!

And I don't think I could argue too much against Griffiths instead of Ruka either.:)

tbh,I think its a great team and it leaves us with a strong bench as well.
But Griffiths must have killed Pim's cat or something:D

I think Williams will start ahead of Moore.

What about Tommy Oar? Surely he will be selected and come on off the bench?

But Ghana and Serbia seemed to be much better teams than Australian team.
