    Still a young team for the Aussies. No Sacha for the remainder of the World Cup. Some solid players on the bench. Barbieri is starting at goal for the Aussies. Only 11 caps. Same as Kell.

    First 10 minutes. Ghana has had more chances but Australia had one of the better ones from 15 yards with a shot by Garriock.

    Even though Australia is playing in a changed strip, Skippy is with them and hoping to bring luck!

    More saves by Melissa Barbieri as the Aussies fight off the Ghana attack 20 minutes into the match. They hit the bar twice in two minutes!

    The Aussie GK has come up big so far in this half. Eeesh!!!

    And the Aussies were just robbed of a PK. The Ghanian defender clearly got all Aussie and zero ball.

    I do believe so.

    I was just gonna post that I thought Australia still had alot of time in this match to at least tie things up and lo and behold looks like they are one goal away from doing so.

    Now Australia needs 2 more goals to win and keep their quarter-finals hopes alive. A draw/tie won't do.

    Good try, Australia. Better luck, next time. So much travelling before the Cup and then sickness hit the team. Then injuries.

    I thought it was 4 minutes of stoppage time. Instead it was 3.

    Sad to see the Aussies go. Nice effort though. :(

    At least an African team finally got a win. Congrats Ghana.
