Australia is only ranked #1 because the new Fifa rankings are heavily biased against AFC teams. Now that Australia is in AFC, they will not go up anymore cause of heavy penalties towards the way AFC is structured.

There is no "best team" in Asia. Australia, S. Korea, Japan, Iran, and Saudi Arabia are all pretty equal and each team can be beat by any of the other teams at any given time.

This is pretty accurate. The most we can claim at this point is that we had a successful World Cup and are currently the highest ranked side in FIFA rankings (for what they are worth).

at least we have Achievements, maybe we didn't won the Asian Cup but have Achievements, maybe it's not big like the Asian cup and alot of you don't care, but we won the Asian Games, we won the Asian Cup u-20 5 times, we won the Gulf Cup 3 times, West Asia Championship and West Asia Games, at least you guys enter the ASEAN Championship to get some Achievements
